I don't think dressing alone is what does it. I think the overall impression of someone does - and dressing could happen to be a significant part if one otherwise doesn't know the person well. But once you get to know someone as a person, there's more at play.

Perhaps, but not necessarily. Men are much more likely to respect a woman who is kind, humble, friendly, and regards everyone regardless of how she dresses.

A girl might dress modestly and be attractive but gains no respect or attention from guys because she is snobby with a stoic, non-outgoing personality, whereas you might find a girl who dresses sleazy but is nice to people and still regards them because she doesn't see herself as better than anyone.

When in a relationship she shouldn't dress slutty in public (only at home with her SO for fun).
If she dresses that way while in a relationship when going somewhere without her SO (boyfriend/husband) then she is trying to attract attention from others and is trying to cheat, so then she wouldn't be respectable.

Nah, I have seen plenty of modest-looking women who are pathetic in real life or behind closed doors. They can sleep around with hundreds of men, behave rudely while just dressing modestly. I have seen girls wearing little slutty clothes to be humble, caring, and are fun to talk to. You can't judge by clothes only.
