Do you believe masturbation in public should be banned and the ones who do that must go to jail?

Is masturbation an action so so bad that indeed needs to be punished or is not that really terrible for a person to go to jail for that?

In the country I live, like 2 months ago the Governmetn made a new law where street sexual harrassment mostly towards women and cat calling passed and it it is now punisahble and the person who do it goes to jail for some months, is fined or like several years in jail or so depending on the type of harrrasment committed. This law punishes different types of sexual harrassments and one of them is masturbation.

So last week where I live a guy will have to go to jail for like 6 months because he was masterbating in a public space, a park and a lady saw that guy doing that and she accused the guy of doing that, cause she felt offended by that act. So woth this new law, now the guy will go to jail for some months.

I think it should be banned in public, like all indiscent nudity. Many people aren't comfortable around others that are doing something overly sexual or showing too much. The biggest concern though is that a kid will see something that is too mature for them. I understand that some people think that sex and nudity are fine for kids, but many don't; therefore, we have to think about the people that don't want something like that in public.
Should they be jailed or put on a sexual preditor list? Depends on the situation. No, if it is the middle of the night and nobody is around, that should just be a fine, but if it is in a park or playground mid-day, then probably yes.

I don't think catcalling should be a punishable offense. If I had a young child, I certainly would not want them to see some perv jerking off in the park. Why does that need to be done in public? Because it gives a thrill to the perv to be seen while wanking; their intent is to victimize unwilling participants. Send those sorry ass pervs to jail!

Masturbation in public is already banned/illegal, it's considered an act of public indecency. I think punishment might depend on the severity though.

If it isn't already banned, yeah it should be. That said, it shouldn't be so strict as to just send someone to jail. That's silly. Maybe after enough repeat offenses, but just fine them. Tell them to knock it off. If they keep doing it, fine them, and if they still won't stop, give them a little bit of jail time or give them some hours with a shrink or sweeping the streets of trash or something.
