I do not believe it will completely get rid of his depression  but I believe it could probably make him feel a bit better

Yeah you would hundred percent right on All the Above only if the person that is depressed can get himself or herself out of it they believe that they are depressed so deeply in their subconscious that's the first thing we have to clean and get rid of it there first everything becomes better that what I like is that sits at your question that you would even think about that to helping somebody out is that wait I think that is very beautiful of you I think you are a a very cool person with a very beautiful heart and I think somebody needs to do something for you for even thinking that way I think that's cool thank you you the type of person I would love to know in real life

Depends on how supportive she was, but it should help. Being vulnerable and naked with someone, not being judged by them gives them validation and confidence in themselves. It's common for depressed people to be starved of human contact so it's not even all about the sex, just spending time with someone in bed talking and having their full attention would make a difference for most people.

If its clinical depression, its not going to cure it. Will make them feel better in the moment.

Really, nobody should expect having sex or getting into a relationship to cure depression, even if being lonely is one cause for the depression. Depression has to be healed from within (and with therapy if needed) and not be relied on from a partner.
