I live in the rural Western US, and I go to secluded and even completely isolated places in the wild, and take my chances. This includes skinny dipping in a lake or river in the mountains, sunbathing naked in a lounge chair in the middle of nowhere in the open Prairie, and riding my horse bareback.
Of all the times I had done this, I was only caught once; when hiking nude in the mountains by a pleasant couple who did see me in the buff, and they just smiled and said "hi" and "have a nice day." That was it. I was never caught by a ranger.
Considering it has been so hot 🥵 where I am, it was a great time to be nude (a little sunblock though).
And how could any of this be "public indecency" when there is nearly nobody in sight? And why would people care if they did see somebody nude in the wild?
