Do you ever feel like you have to "reproram" yourself after being around people or certain people for too long?

I almost feel brainwashed and like I have to reinforce what is me, engage in my interests, etc. Can anybody relate?

  • Yes, I recently turned off all of my devices for a few days. I was working and starting to really feel like I am on track, feeling positive and healthy. I came back on Gag today to see what's up, and I immediately noticed how grouchy and negative EVERYONE here is. It was like they all had been fighting with each other about the same old crap for the whole time I was gone. Then some weird guy started trolling about how it's wrong for White men to be in relationships with Asian women because some of them are petite like girls. By his twisted logic no woman of any race who's short, thin and flat chested should ever have sex (even if she's 29 years old) because to him she looks young. He doesn't understand that we don't measure a woman's age and emotional maturity by her height and boob size.
These are the kind of people that can make you dumber just by reading their crap. It is definitely important to leave Gag sometimes and allow your brain to reprogram itself.

  • Absolutely. Like I've said in some of my question I'm a recovering addict so I pick the people I'm around wisely. I think it's good and being self aware to see that someone isn't good to be around. Always listen to your gut that's what I do and never stirred me wrong
