I was uncomfortable being naked around him first because I wasn't sure he'd be sexually attracted to me. However, when that went away I became completely comfortable being naked around him (and by extension sending nudes)

Yeah but honestly it's difficult it would ever get viral enough to be still public after a year if it is public at all. Most nudes sent are just shared in privatecircles.

You are probably right that since most of you friends have seen you topless, then topless photos would not be a big deal in your circle of friends. Same for completely nude. But the can get spread pretty far. They are often NOT kept in private circles. And some day you may be looking to get an important job, especially if with the government, and if those photos show up it could kill your job chances. That probably won't happen, and it is no big deal if your nudes are out amongst your close circles. But realize they could go farther and be a problem.
