Do you feel obligated to give sex to your partner?

It's my anxiety talking, but sometimes I feel that if I fail to give her sex or don't satisfy her, something bad will happen.

Not that sex isn’t enjoyable, it is. But I’m sure we’ve all experienced a time where we’ve not felt up to it but did it because we loved them.

I understand what you mean. Sometimes I'm not really in the mood but I have sex with her anyway because I know it will make her feel better and sleep more serenely. It doesn't bother me, I think it's normal to make this little compromise to make her happy.

You should never feel obligated to have sex with anyone, it's your body if you don't want to do something you don't have to do it, talk to her I'm sure she'll understand. I get the anxiety problems I have suffered with anxiety since my early teens and I have felt like doing things like what you've described because I'm scared they'd leave me if I don't but people are usually very understanding of that kind of situation just talk to her

It is. The therapist says so and my fiancée assured me that although she likes to "play heavy" (and to be honest I like it when I'm in the mood for it), I'm much more than a body to ride on for her.
