Do you guys really think men are more sexually attracted to women than men are towards men?

Maybe a little bit, but it often seems like there's a huge chasm between men and women's sexual attraction levels. That's mostly an illusion, though, because what you're REALLY seeing is a different kind of difference between men and women.

Most women cannot, or at best have difficulty, feeling sexual about men who they don't have ROMANTIC feelings for, meaning women have a gateway that men have to pass through (that most men don't get past) before women will feel sexual about the men. Most men, on the other hand, have no such gateway. Most men are perfectly capable - and perfectly happy - to have casual sex with a girl they have no romantic feelings for whatsoever. For men, sex, by itself, can be enough. Most women simply don't work that way.

But that difference is what is responsible for the majority of the perception that women are less sexually attracted to men then men are to women. What ISN'T so visible is that when a woman has feelings for a man, often her libido is even higher than his, and she wants sex more and more often, and the guy may not even be able to keep up. Once a man gets past that "romantic feelings" gateway, the woman is able to unleash her libido, and for many women, that's a POWERFUL thing.

I think as with most things culture etc comes in to it.

my slant is that it’s pretty 50 - 50.

this is when we refer to attracted to them as a person.

however when you sexualise it, then men are far more likely to sexualise a woman over a woman sexualising A guy.

a guy is attracted to boobs and would get a hard on seeing the crack of dawn.

but that’s not meaning they are attracted to the owner of the boobs - it’s like ‘boobs yummy’.

where as a woman is more likely to look at the complete package and be attracted to it.

also where I live, girls are more likely (and do) approach guys and let them know they are.

short version, 50/50 for attraction.
