I have above average sized pussy lips that hang down a little. I've always been very insecure about it. Recently I had a wardrobe malfunction when my bikini bottom slipped to the side and my bits were out. Not sure how many people saw it hanging out but I was very embarrassed when it was showing. Has anything like this ever happened to you?

That’s normal, the labia is actually meant to extend during puberty to show you’re an adult. Adults without a labia showing are rare, or have had them cut. Having a labia that “hangs down” is the most common type, opposed to any other. If it hurts or itches a lot etc it might be too long and you can have it shortened.

I can't say that it's rare, really. mine didn't really change much and show practically nothing. I've seen this with several partners too. some showing is probably standard, but I don't think that means most. PS they have almost nothing to do with being an adult. labia are labia and change as you get older, we're all different in our own ways despite how we look. it's not a definitive sign of being an adult.

@chosen2heaven I always thought it was, I never had them until I hit puberty but that doesn’t matter. I’ve heard a lot of medical professionals say it was more common to have a protruding inner labia. Looks more normal to me too.

I won't deny that's it's more common to have something showing, but I'm saying that there doesn't have to be a lot showing. we all develop differently for sure and I'm ok with that. even close relatives are incredibly different. We have our own sense of normal based on what we look like ourselves I think and the idea of what an adult should look like. our labia definitely change as we hit puberty, but I think it's like breast size, everyone is radically different, really.

My inner labia doesn't show. I have very little to no inner labia. I would like to point out that this isn't the "norm". The outside of my vagina, or "pussy lips" are very puffy and fat. So, yes. I do have camel toe.
