Like for us we have less sex in the winter because the house is always cold
We have wood/coal burning heater in 5 parts of the house and we have 5 chimneys.
So to keep the house fully heated takes a lot of wood or coal.
The opposite - most people have more in Canada. In Quebec there was a small crisis in (1998? - sometime in the 90s this occured) -
Big blizzard hit Quebec - hard. Froze the city in ice and nobody could leave their home for 8 days straight (winter is not this bad in Canada we have grass in winter sometimes too - this was horrifically cold / abnormal year).
Nine months later - an insane spike in babies shotgunning out of wombs into hospitals being born occured - there is a noticeable jump in the normal birth rate that would have occured from all the additional pregnancies per capita that increased dramatically that would have occured during those 8 days when people were locked in their homes board.
Just for those 8 days only - then went back down to normal again once the ice thawad.
I honestly have more sex in the winter just to stay warm and there ain't much to do when it's cold and less sunlight outside. Sex sometimes just because for boredom or just to entertain ourselves if there nothing on TV. During summer I have a lot of sex cause girls just seem more in heat though.

I tend to have more sex in the summer cause my wife and I stay naked around the house most of the time. Maybe try to keep one room the warmest and make it the one where you have sex?

The opposite! More cosy, the heat is on all the time (mountain heat system) and it gets the lady in the mood.
