Guys are very visually oriented. It's just an natural for him to imagine you naked, as it is for you to imagine him hugging and kissing you. That doesn't mean all he wants is your body. However, more to the point in question. When he said "one can imagine" he may simply have been using the term, not really imagining you naked. Or maybe he was.
