yes. a is skinny, b is skinny, c is maybe, d is maybe, e is usually not, f is mostly not, g is like breasts implants or mostly not, h is even more of that. and there's some sort of number with it but doesn't seem so important unless its huge and she's short
0 0 0 0You're wrong! The 'number' is called the band size, and it is the most important part.
how it important? like what does it do?
I'm gonna wait till there's more responses before I elaborate on that, but also you're incorrect in saying "a is skinny, b is skinny, c is maybe, d is maybe, e is usually not, f is mostly not, g is like breasts implants or mostly not, h is even more of that"

Nope. I just know how to unclip them. I recently learned that different brands have different sizes of the same size. That's crazy. So I'll be taking my woman shopping with me when I want to buy her bras
0 0 0 0"I recently learned that different brands have different sizes of the same size" What do you mean by this exactly?
This is based on what a girl told me but basically say you’re an 32A. If you buy it from Chantelle it might fit looser or tighter if you bought it from Natori.
Oh yeah, some bands run tighter than others

Yeah. My sister is a 40G and they are close to 6lbs in weight. Imagine carrying that shit around on your back all day. Then when you hit a big pot hole in the road and them bounce 😢 she's constantly in pain.
0 0 0 0I know that lots of girls just go for looks and not a proper fit. You should get fitted so you can wear the right size and cup size so you get proper support. You will have fewer problems if you do.
0 0 0 0You're better off measuring yourself than getting fitted because a lot of fitters will purposely size you wrong in order to sell more products.
The point is, whether you or someone else measures, to get a proper fit. Loose straps means floppy tits.
Absolutely, it's SO important to get the right fit. You can only really trust yourself to measure though, there are too many companies around that care more about money than the right fit. I was measured incorrectly EVERY time (multiple different stores). Measured myself one day and my bras have been super comfortable and supportive ever since.

5 25Yarp! American ones at least. And the easy sizes obviously (cm)
0 0 0 0all I know about bras are the way the clasps work in the dark... as a guy, I feel thats all I need to know about them...
0 0 0 0Yup. Sure do! More than many women, in fact.
0 1 0 0Yep that graphic is correct! It doesn't consider 26 or 28 bands though which would be more enlightening
What do you mean by "work"?
0 0 0 0Basically do you understand bra sizing
Yes I do, how about you?
I consider myself to know more than most women (that's why I asked this question as a bit of a social experiment). What do you know?
I know how the sizes work.
The hook is a different issue.0 1 0 0Yes, pretty much. @CheerGirl38139 used to be active on GaG and she explained bra sizing and "sister sizes" really well.
0 0 0 0What sizes would you consider 'big'
Well as an example, a 38E would be a size that a woman with larger size breasts might wear.
A properly fitted 38E actually looks more on the average side than the large side
Not really, but I haven't needed to
0 0 0 0somewhat
0 0 0 0To become a statistic: no, I don't
0 0 0 0It seems more difficult as advanced statistics. So I have the solution already a few years: I go with my bestie in a specialised shop and try out.
0 0 0 0Be careful! Shops purposely size people wrong so that they can sell them a size - even if it's wrong. This allows them to keep their size range as narrow as possible and make as much money as possible
I had only good experiences.
I always had good experiences too when I was fitted in the wrong size, because I didn't know any better. To the untrained eye a bad-fitting bra can look like there's nothing wrong with it.
Yes, cup leter is volume and the number is band size under the breasts.
0 0 0 0Also the leter is proportional to the band. So what looks like an A on say a 38A may be something like a 26C. That's off the top of my head I'm not refering to a chart.
What would you consider 'big'?
It really depends on a bunch of factors. I concider anything larger than maybe a 32D or perhaps DD to be big. Though cup sizes are growing in the next generations.
Nope, I only know about taking them off
0 0 0 0Yes. Band size + 1" = 1 letter.
Double triple letters are sometimes used instead of going further into the alphabet.
A DDD for example, could also be an F.0 0 0 0Yep, pretty much! DDD is used in US sizing and its the equivalent to a UK E. What sizes would you consider small/big?
Depends more on the ratio of bust size to band size- a smaller chested gal can make a B look pretty big!
You're right that it depends on the band:bust ratio but a B wouldn't look at all big on a small chested person.
I didn’t have much choice but to learn them.
0 0 0 0What did you learn? :)
Get fitted yearly
Be careful with that! Fitters will often size you incorrectly in order to sell you something. Much more accurate to measure yourself :)
Honestly, not yet. :/
0 0 0 0I understand the single cup size process.
But why are some women classified as double or triple letter cups like double Ds or triple Fs?0 0 0 0It's just the way the sizing goes! What do you understand about the cup size process?
yes, why?
0 0 0 0Social experiment. What do you know about bra sizing?
I know that the cup sizes doesn't always translate to how big or small the breasts are, as most people assume
Yep that's true :)
Yeah
0 0 0 0Not exactly. I just know what is small and big.
0 0 0 0Ok, tell me what is small, and what is big
I think AAA is the smallest while DD is among the biggest.
First of all, AAA and DD aren't sizes, unless you put a band size with them, eg. 32A or 34DD. Also, DD is not among the biggest, DD is actually more small-average.
Of course you can't give a size D cup to an A cup
0 0 0 0There is no such thing as a 'size D cup' or an 'A cup'
Sure there are so women don't get the wrong size either your still in a training bra and haven't reached the cup size then I get why you would say that
Hahaha, no. D cup and A cup aren't sizes. Cup size means nothing unless there's a band size in question. For example, 32A and 34DD - THOSE are sizes.
