Some couples can get past the "small" fights to have sex. The gif has nothing to do with it.
If I've moved past the small fight that means I'm not really angry to begin with or I'm not angry anymore once we have sex. I can't get turned on if I'm actually angry

Witholding sex is also unhealthy in a relationship. Because you should be talking things out.
Well yeah. Withholding isn't good. But if you start that up when you're mad, it subconsciously teaches you to start stuff on order to get that rewaard.
What if you have a blinding rage inside of you and can't think straight but the sex calms you back down and you're willing to see your partner's side of things? Yeah you were rewarded but it ended up helping your relationship.
