Sex is indeed an addiction, worse than drugs, cigarettes, alcohol, gambling or gaming.

The reason being is that humans are total slaves of their sexual hormones rather than to be control of them. The same applies to other addictions. You know it is bad for you, yet you don't want to give it up for whatever trivial reason. You have the opportunity to be stronger than your addiction but the reward you receive, even if you know that is is detrimental to your health is stronger than your will.

Sex is probably the worst of all addictions. People kill, rape, murder and steal for sex.

For all those reasons, I am not in favor of that type of activity because it creates too many problems that could be avoided if people were abstinent, except for procreation, of course.

I am so sorry for whatever terrible men did this to you. There is nothing more beautiful than a man making love to his wife. Nothing ever gets two people closer. I agree that promiscuity is damaging, but a healthy sex life is a requirement for a happy marriage. Only a cruel, sadistic spouse would deny love within a marriage. I hope some day you can get married, but first get help for your mental health and abuse history. You should enjoy your husbands touch, not recoil from it. Reading you comment saddens me, as a survivor of childhood sexual trauma. Life can get better. I promise you. Mental health and church will clear your head.

@SkipPerk Thanks for taking time to reply. I have never been the victim of sexual violence and abuse. I just express my point of view based on what society accepts as normal nowadays in terms of sex. The primary aim of sex is procreation. That means to create life, not to destroy it as it is done nowadays. Also, sexual deviances and pornographic acts have nothing to do with sex anymore since they are misusing the very fundamental purpose of procreation. I do feel sorry for you for having had to suffer from sexual abuse in your childhood by people that are the very same ones that I am referring to.

Without the security of a relationship, I find myself constantly worrying about every noise he makes, and thinking “was that a “wow, this is amazing” moan, or a “god this is tedious” moan! Seriously, with random thoughts zipping through my head, it’s impossible to just relax enough to even enjoy myself, let alone have an orgasm. I’ve only ever had orgasms through guys giving me oral, and even then, there’s no guarantee that I can cum from that with just a “hook-up”. That’s why I’m done with that. I tried it a couple of times and truly didn’t enjoy it. There was one guy, but I believed we had a real connection and that it meant more to him than it did. I honestly believed that he wanted me to be his girlfriend… I was wrong! I’m not bitter about it, it was amazing sex, and I’m grateful for the experience, but I genuinely believed that we would be in a relationship by morning. Again, I was mistaken.
