  • I'm prone to playing with fire to the point of obvious excess. I have two tooth scars on the left side of my face from playing with wild dogs as a boy. The first time I was hospitalized with stitches and a sane person should say, "Don't play with wild dogs!"

But I wasn't a sane person even as a little boy. I thought, "Playing with wild dogs is so exciting! It hurt so much when I made a wrong move!" So it was less than a year later that I did it again, got bitten on the face, and sent to a hospital trying to hug and kiss and rub my face against growling wild big dogs. That is just one example. I can go into countless examples.

I struggle a lot with civilization and social boundaries. Don't get me wrong. I can take the hint. Actually, I think I'm better at it than most just like with growling, rabid dogs. You learn from experience where the line is at it. You become very attentive. I just like to play with the line and never with the intention to offend, only to tame. But I'm constantly moving forward into situations where sane people are supposed to move backward.

    • I was also a sponsored vert skater growing up and reputable not for the most technical tricks, but the craziest like the highest backside air into a disaster (deliberately hanging our board up on the coping) until I realized the momentum from a 9-foot high air deliberately banging my skateboard on the coping would split it in half and send me flying face-first to the flat bottom with a broken jaw. I got even worse when I started drinking in uni. I am unanimously and consistently the craziest person in any group I'm in. Dangerous situations or even social situations that will mess up my fame don't phase me from taking the riskiest actions and even failing outright.

    • But you know, that's where the fun is at! If we aren't playing with fire, where's the fun at? Sunbath at a swimming pool? Boring! Anyone can do that and so many people do that. Skydiving is closer to my idea of a vacation (although I've only been able to tandem jump so far; I hate that and it feels like a rollercoaster ride instead of one where I can control whether I live or die).

  • Everything being relative and depending on particular circumstances, I'm generally spoken somewhere in the middle of those three options. Let's say I'm able to take calculated risks, but absolutely never for the fun of taking a risk or having a fight for the sake of it.

Meaning I like to keep the means and the goal in balance, playing safe where reasonably possible and counting on an open instinctive mind. Sometimes I just sit on the fence to observe what's going on and to learn what should be avoided or not ;0)

  • Play with temptation. There's more pleasure in risk

  • I voted 'A' because I was pretty wild when I was young. I had tons of adventures and did some crazy shit. But I wasn't stupid, careless or suicidal. I managed to survive.

I usually measured my risks. Plus I got lucky quite a few times. 🤣

  • I will put it to you this way:

I am a fireman married to an arsonist.

So, vote for me what you believe fits.

  • When I was younger I did a lot of crazy shit and didn’t really have a care in the world , I was a wild child that did a bunch of stupid shit in a fun way , I look back at the shit I use to do and think what in the hell possessed me to be that way lol But I guess we live and learn off of our actions and experiences for the most part , that’s my excuse at least lol but as we get older we tend to settle down and become wiser , I am still a little wild but not even close to how I was when I was younger , I am more of a dork now and settled down , I am apparently not as good as I once was lol My kids shake their heads at me and think they are way cooler than I was lol

  • I used to take lot of risks when i was younger. I no longer have the physical skills to keep myself from getting killed. I am even looking both ways before crossing the street these days.

  • I am somewhere in between

  • Depends what we're talking about. I take calculated gambles generally.

  • depends on the situation. everything is a case by case basis

  • Safe.

  • I have an actual fireplace and like using it. Does that mean I like to play with fire. It is a wood fireplace so I literally have to make fire and play with it to keep it going. Lol

  • I have always been a risk-taker.

  • I play it safe.

  • YOLO.

  • As a teen and young adult, I was fearless, death-defying and an adrenaline junkie. It took me burning out and crashing to realize I had adrenal exhaustion. Like a junkie undergoing withdrawal, my agony was real, but I recovered and am a changed, very different person today. I'm just thankful that I lived to tell this tale, cuz I could have just as easily died maybe a dozen times!

  • personally I have always been a risk taker

  • Playing with fire is sooo much fun😈😈

  • Go big or go home

  • Come on baby light my fire

  • I voted "fence sitter" because it really depends on the situation!

  • I'm a US Marine and adrenaline junky
