Do you (or do you not) find it painful to go horseback riding?

I've heard from men that it can be painful because of their testicles. If you've never been horseback riding, choose the last option.

  • It depends on how you get on the horse. If you do it properly as instructed then you will be fine. I have ridden a horse once in my life and it was not painful due to my genital area. What did hurt was because I was not used to how tight you have to grip a horse with your legs to get them to even feel anything, but that is just because I used muscles I've never used before, just like going to the gym for the first time.

  • I had a run-in with Monty a horse of 22 hands high bruiser That had a mind of its own for speed and rythum. I could do nothing put hold on for dear life. The insident burned the hair from my inner legs that never grew back This also marked me for life. No horse riding ever since.

  • I ride regularly and the only pain I've experienced is getting your muscles back into shape (you use a lot of muscles when riding that you don't typically use in very many other activities) and sometimes falling off, lol. Also, I have an older saddle with a hard seat, so my seat bones can be a little sore when I sit on a hard surface after a long ride.

    • Cashel makes a saddle cushion you can buy

    • @Ecologygirl76 Thanks! I'll look into it! It's weird because I'm usually comfortable for the duration for the ride, but kind of sore a few hours to a day later!

  • The only painful parts the ground. It shouldn't be painful, for girls at least, unless you're sitting wrong. If you sit back on your seat bones, you should be right, but if you sit on your crotch area it could hurt. Don't wear jeans without undies either, that rubs and it sort of hurts too.

  • I rarely ride so it takes me a while to get the rhythm so the first pounding stings a bit then later on it's my thighs that are burning. Add to that my small feet that keep banging on the pedal so I also have muscle bruise lol

  • I've pinched a testicle getting in my car. Never when horseback riding.

  • Beginners and those who haven't rode for a while can feel a little stiff the next day that's all. The real pain comes when you fall off.

  • Not painful. Yes, most dudes find it awkward.

    • Why?

    • @Paige90 because as you've said they have dangly genitals and most guys don't think about decent underwear

  • It's hard on my back the older I'm getting. When I go Horseback Riding now I have to wear a Back Brace that keeps everything aligned.

  • I used to ride horses every summer, always without a saddle. It doesn't hurt during the ride, but later my thighs used to hurt from those trots

    • Fuck?

    • @special0 What?

    • come to my question

  • If you do it right, you're gonna be sore (that's for everyone) but yeah, guys will be in more pain because of their balls. You're supposed to squeeze your legs when riding, so after your thighs are going to be pretty sore anyway

  • Those guys were clearly inexperienced riders. I've never racked my balls once. It's called 'posting' during a trot and canter...

    • Actually you post and sometimes sit the trot and you sit the canter.

    • I thought I may have butchered that, it's been many years. Thank you!

    • Haha yeah. You're welcome.

  • I love horses & horseback riding. For me, it's only painful if you've been riding for a very long time.

  • I love horseback riding, and don't find it painful. Unfortunately, I don't get to ride horses much.

  • Not painful at all. The vibration feels kinda nice.

    • Hmm. I know what your talking about 😁

    • @Ankitasingh466 really it can have that effect?

  • Riding itself is not painful but if you are not used to it and do it for a long while suddently - boy will your butt hurt the next day.

  • I have and given the right type of seat it can not be as bad but I only briefly rode on one slowly though, have not gone riding yet

  • Yeah. For horses

  • Not painful but my thighs can be sore afterwards.

  • Not painful at all and I have had incredible orgasms while doing it too.

    • Its got you all the way to completion?

    • Orgasm while horse riding? How's that possible?

    • @crazysid22 the bouncing up and down and grinding against the saddle

  • It's not painful at all, and I like horseback riding a lot.

    • @chocolada any particular reason why you like riding a lot?

    • @manmeat It's exciting.

    • @chocolada in what way

  • Never had been painful

  • Western riding. Snug jeans provide support so they don't bounce around. If I rode English (posting). I'd wear an atletic supporter so I don't land wrong.

    • Good point, rarely see dudes riding English though...

  • Not painful at all as long as you don't get jostled wrong. I've been hurt when a horse unexpectedly stopped too fast, or started hopping, but that's painful for anyone. But regular riding with a proper saddle? Not painful
