From someone who lost their virginity later then you age wise all i can say is that it doesn't matter, i waited until i find someone i cared about enough to be with them, it wasn't grand love or anything like that but there was feelings for each others, she was experience and i was a virgin, she didn't mind at all, and neither do i, you should stop belittling yourself and love your self for it, i know its uncomfortable to be virgin at your age or older while everyone else is doing it but so what, i was proud that i was a virgin, i'm not with that girl anymore but i definitely don't regret choosing her as my 1st. If they don't then move on cuz in my book its a win-win, you either stay friends with someone dear to you and you had the courage the tell them how you feel and how you deserve to be treated (real friend would respect you for that) or you lose a toxic person and have less toxic life cuz of that. win-win so definitely wait for someone you at least like a lot, doesn't have to be love but you both should have some feeling for each other, as time passes by you won't regret it, better than you do it with some random or someone who isn't special to you and regret it for the rest of our life
