  • You should have a routine of having regular sexual health check ups.

Even when not dating, as a previously sexually active person you start regular check ups.

you never really know when something may result in a new person on the scene.

It should be a habit, scheduled x times per year.

    • I go at least once a year but i also know that im not doing shit atm. Had i been, it would be monthly

  • I usually get checked every year or two, along with general exams and check ups... being sexually active is not the only thing that can get you one of these infections and diseases... lol

    • I know. I mentioned that to a few

    • hepatitis and dentistry... that's a scary thing

    • Dentistry? Oh lord u gone freak me out lmao

  • I have no problem getting tested. It makes total sense.

One girlfriend asked if I would go with her to get us both tested. I respected that and did it willingly. Plus it told me that she was really into me and didn't hop into bed with just anyone. It told me that she was smart and that she cared for and valued her body.
After that, though, we went raw like rabbits in heat because she was on the pill.

I wouldn't stay with a woman very long if she insisted on condoms. It would mean that she had never experienced unbridled, juicy, ecstatic sexuality and was afraid of it. She didn't even know what it was.

    • Do you still get tested as a married couple

    • What? No. Why would we? Even my girlfriends and I didn't get tested once we were going steady. I didn't cheat and neither did they.

    • Of course its a trust thing. Even though i trusted my longterm dude, we still got tested just because people can catch stuff in non sexual ways too. Im likely just paranoid and may not be once married

  • I get the potential hookup to get tested then when he's all clear I have raw sex with him... I hate condoms and it is honestly just so much better without.

    • I get it

  • I get tested before any new sexual relationship and I ask my partner to do the same. The last time I had a partner who was capable of getting pregnant was 1985, so pregnancy is not a concern. If we are both clean and faithful, we can enjoy our relationship without condoms. (And I don't have a relationship with anyone unless I feel confident that they will be faithful.)

    • Thats very good. I have to date them longterm and be in love with them to even consider having sex. So im surely hoping they’re remaining faithful along the way

    • I have dated quite a bit over the past 15 years but most of those datig relationships were not sexual. I average a sexual relationship maybe once every three or four years. And it involves feelings and commitment.

    • My first sexual experience was not quite by choice and other than that i’ve had one other and those were 7 years apart. I take what i do witth my body very seriously especially due to religious reasons

  • Always. Have a really test regardless if you're having sex or not.

    • I agree

  • Definitely tested and then raw

    • Ikrr

  • I certainly would. I don't want to risk getting an STD just because I don't feel like getting tested.

    • Right

  • Tests and then raw all the way babbyyyyy

    • Yassss

    • Wow u princess

  • You can still get tested even if virgin?

    • Absolutely because you can catch stuff without having sex. Just depends on what body fluids were exhanged among other things like sharing unsanitary tattoo needles etc

    • Virginity doesn’t matter about std tests……. How would it?

    • Hmmm ok. Just wondering. Imma virgin.

  • I did get tested before and after I slept with someone in the past. Clean the whole way, men need to treat their dick like their best friend. He comes with you in the world amd goes through good and bad times with you, and he will be with you when you go out, the true OG.

Jokes aside, yes. STD test is a must.

    • Yea i also do the before and after. They say pussys are self cleaning but its good to still have that test cause it can't clean everything and we can catch shit too lmao

    • True. No amount of penicillin, bleach or black magic can stop certain ones. Herpes is for life.

  • I would because it would give me peace of mind but if we’ve had recent blood tests and not been sexually active for a while and I know them and trust them well enough I don’t mind going ahead with it. Since I am super cautious who I get involved with it would most likely be the case that I know them very well anyway to be able to trust them in that sense.

    • Yea even being in a long term relationship with them, i still prefer we get tested

  • I would definitely go with getting tested and then go raw. Because condoms suck! And I mean I’m gonna be honest I have never had one done… but I do plan on it next time I go to the doctor.

    • Okay

    • Okay! 😂 yeah I love your enthusiasm on these opinions.

    • Thanks haha

  • Yeap. That happens before we even kiss.

    • Hot damn. Thats smart but i haven't done that. Just for sexual stuff like oral/sex/etc

    • Understandable. To me, an incurable std is essentially a death sentence, so I'm not playing games with that shit lol

  • If I were single and mingling then yes

    • Okay

  • It should be the new norm

    • Yea it should

  • I prefer we both get tested AND still use a condom. I'm not really for any kids yet so, I'm not going to take the chances of going raw just yet lol.

    • Totally understandable

  • Yeah, I last got tested 2 months ago. Everyone should do their part to make it easier to say yes to raw.

    • True

    • I like to say if you're comfortable talking about sex, you should be able to confidently have an answer about STIs and protection. It's possible new partner is on the same page already. Both want it raw first time, can always make it happen!

  • B, but also me or her has to be sterile since condoms are a failure at baby prevention.

    • I understand

  • Absolutely, always get tested for STD’s, I have to because I have a lot of sex, but everyone should be tested.

    • Yea they should

  • Before. I wouldn't want to pass anything on to someone or get anything. I even made the effort to do some online research (gross AF) to be able to identify things I come across in the wild. I'm pretty selective in a partner & haven't had any trouble yet. My types the shy girl that turns beet red after looking at me once & has trouble communicating with me. I have many similar hobbies as these girls but they're so hard to get to open up at times:/

    • Aww thats adorbs. I like shy guys that still remain shy around others but feels comfortable around me much sooner

  • I've been with the same woman for years so there's no need to get tested for anything.

    • What if you catch something from a bodily fluid like how that doctor got aids in the eye

    • I've gotten this far without being tested.

    • Not everyone dies from disease early on
