Answered "Rough," but that is not quite right.

Part of the problem is that you juxtaposed "Rough" to "Slow." A better and more accurate juxtaposition would have been to "Rough" to "Romantic." ("Other" simply muddies the picture further. Rough & Slow? Slow & Rough?)

While understanding what you actually meant, I don't think it does it justice. When my girlfriend and I are feeling "romantic," slow sex is tender, loving, gentle. I want to feel myself inside her, to see the pleasure in her face as I hold her in my arms. When I am in the right mood, "Slow" sex is the best - and I would probably have picked it.

So why "Rough" sex? Because when the mood is right, my girlfriend and I are like two animals breeding in a field. I mount her from behind and I hump her hard and fast and she submits herself to me. She is there for my use to breed her. If we are really getting rough, we are barely human, with even a bit of biting and scratching.

There is just something amazing about not even feeling like human beings. It is just us at our most instinctual and primal selves. It's all about me planting my seed inside her and reproducing and it is raw physicality.

Yet, here is the weird part. Even with all of that, I feel protective of her. She is mine and I am protecting her - just like a male animal who is warding off rival males and predators. She tells me that we are that primal that she feels protected and safe. Yes, her body is mine to use and her sole reason for being in that moment is to get pregnant and service me.

Yet, we feel a certain bond to each other and a connectedness. It probably is not anything to be proud of. It is not love at its most elevated and noble level, it is rather base and elemental, but it is total and real.

Don't get me wrong, I would vote for "Romantic" if that was an option, but "Rough" has an element of the best of all possible worlds. It is animal, but there is something deep and binding about it.

Funny aside: Research by Kinsey and others have found men prefer romantic sex to "wild" sex actually more than women do - though both prefer romantic more than to "wild" overall. Not what you would have expected from the stereotype of men.

There are complex evolutionary reasons for this, but it does say something about how men and women really relate. The bond is far more intense and complicated then the difference between "Slow" and "Rough" sex.

Depends on the woman and how does she orgasms, oral or piv. Slow and sensual is best I find for piv orgasm. Slowly let her build and at the end start barely moving so I can feel her experience. I really don't have the option to go rough pounding with a woman anyways.
