    When people try to write erotic stories it is usually action oriented e. g. "You bend me over and ram your big cock deep inside me". That becomes pretty boring pretty quickly.

    When the writing focuses on the emotional and sensory aspects it is more erotic and exciting.     Porn videos are mostly action oriented. Because of the visuals it works better than action oriented writing.

    But it is still possible for porn videos to have emotional sensory content. For example one I saw recently was of a ballerina who wanted attention from a guy at the ballet school. He was inclined to reject her offer of a fuck which offended her. She made one last effort, walking towards him lifting her tutu. The next moment she is rammed against the wall and the video cuts to his cock penetrating her and sliding in and out.

    That I find more arousing than the standard porn script of sucking, followed by cowgirl, followed by reverse cowgirl, followed by doggy and finished with ejaculation on her butt.

  • I find reading erotica tedious and unrewarding. I don't think I have read any erotica that truly aroused me. On the other hand, when women write intimately about their personal sexuality and are articulate in writing, I enjoy it. I would like to read something that actually gets me hard and wet. But it's rare.
    I prefer viewing AV but I'm rather specific in the niche I look at. I do not like long story lines, theatrics like grunting and screaming or long periods of repetitive movement. I want to see AV that gets to the point in relatively short clips. And I like fluids and body reactions.

  • "Watching it" is difficult in my case and most of it is shit anyway, so I prefer reading it. However, most of it is written by males and I don't want to read stuff written by males because... well... it's sort of gay - like a guy is trying to jack me off. So, I prefer when a female writes it. It's usually much better anyway. Sadly, not many women are into what I am into so there are so few authors.
