I have always been embarrassed. Worn swim trunks or boxers to shower then washed them after i changed cloths. But lately i have been trying to get more use to me being nude. Sleeping nude, etc. It is very weird. But probably next time i go to a more open shower i will try it nude to get more comfortable with it.
My gym showers are individual and have stalls between them, meaning privacy.
I don't like the idea of being fully naked in front of others, like if I'm in the changing rooms, I'll walk around with my underwear and socks on, no problem, but I don't want people to see what's underneath my underwear, no thanks.
Most women's locker rooms have shower curtains and individual showers. As long as you have a towel, there's very little nudity going on. There are a few single showers that are private in most locker room areas too.
@screenwriter It is great that you have curtains or individual showers. I have only seen open multiple showers in men's shower rooms.
@Mac-One It's because traditionally men are treated like privacy isn't important to or for them. But I think men appreciate having privacy too. But it's an old-school macho thing. Men are tough. They don't need to be treated other than as cattle. Herd them into showers, in front of urinals. There are both open showers and private showers in most women's locker rooms. I've used both, but I appreciate privacy. Few humans live in giant open showers, so I don't know why they're done in locker rooms, unless it's cheaper to do it. But I think men are simply treated differently.
I have no problem getting naked after a hard workout and showering in the locker room

I've showered naked in public a few times. I just didn't feel like going upstairs to the bathroom so, I got a towel and soap in the back yard and got a shower under the hose at the bottom of the back porch.

Well, yeah. It'd be weird to shower with clothes on. Then I gotta walk around with wet clothes in my bag. That'll start to smell if I don't get to it fast enough

When I was younger, I was terrified of group shower rooms.
Now, I couldn't care less about who sees what.
Age has a way of doing that to a guy, naturally.
It can also be overcome at a younger age by just doing it, holding your head up as you go about your business.
If you're hesitant and try to hide yourself, people are going to pay more attention to you than if you just be you.
Sort of the same way although, with me, it wasn't so much being or seeing nakedidity, I saw how the other boys teased the fuck of certain other boys and, since I'd already been a target most of my life, I didn't want any of that going on with me!! So, most often, I avoided gym class from Jr. high on up. Or, I'd at least go to the classes but refuse to shower afterwards. Tom Au was always just being him and they teased him mercilessly!! They'd swat his naked ass or nuts with a towel (making it wet so it stung more) or sprayed his nuts with their deodorant because they knew it'd burn A LOT!!

I was in the military. I've had enough dudes see my wang to not care anymore. I DO take my trunks into the shower and rinse them out though, so I'm not dragging all that chlorine or salt back to my home washer.
Of course I do! In college, we had coed community restrooms on my floor and it was common for males and females to shower in the morning and no one ever wore clothes.
Always, I shower naked at home so why wouldn't I there, I wouldn't feel clean if I didn't

Yes, I shower nude in change rooms. I'm proud of my body. More importantly, it doesn't make much sense to shower with clothes on.
I’m honestly not comfortable showering nude with people around, because when I take a shower I don’t wanna worry about people looking.

I wouldn’t ever change in public. But I’ve showered at the gym before. The showers are little stalls that have a chair for changing and stuff so I just change there
