I think it's very important and same as a guys I will do anything that I possibly can to let a girl know what's going to go on if she just pick some random dude the odds are he's in it just for himself meaning is going to be a wham-bam thank-you ma'am.

It's different in every culture. In the US, virginity isn't that important. I wanted my first girlfriend to be a virgin and I'm glad she was. If we break up, I don't care if my next one is. If she is who I would want her to be (I don't want to break up, but I had a crush on this girl as well as my girlfriend when I asked my girlfriend out), I don't think she will be. She's been with her boyfriend for almost 2 years (half as long as my girlfriend and I have been together). Considering they're both in their late 20s/early 30s, I would be surprised if they haven't done it yet.

It has no significance to me, other than to make sure her first time is as easy as possible if she is going to give me her virginity.
But honestly I'm not that interested in if she is a virgin or not. I don't know why some men or cultures place such high value on a woman's virginity, its actually pretty disgusting that they do in my eyes.

Its a matter of perspective.
Some religion impressions are so strong that the girl herself thinks that the virginity is important.
Whereas it is not at all important. The hymen can break through extreme physical activity too. Plus, what matters is the girl not the virginity. Virginity is one time thing, the girl is the permanent one.
People should be more understanding in this regard.
I also ask, why not such restrictions on men too?

I believe it’s an ancient thing!! Especially in this day and age …. I did marry a virgin, but it wasn’t mandatory!! I actually wish she had experience before me. We are divorced now, and I’m told she became very ‘free spirited’ after we separated …. I on the other hand became very conservative.
