Makeup can make women look better, which shouldn't be a shock to anyone since that's its entire premise. Having said that, the vast majority of men would prefer that women wore as little as possible to enhance their beauty a bit, and that they apply that makeup with the goal of APPEARING not to be wearing any. In other words, we prefer our women to have a NATURAL look, even if it takes a BIT of makeup to enhance things a bit.
Too many women seem to have forgotten this idea, and apply their makeup every day as if they're starring in a blockbuster movie and they are shooting her closeup today. It's WAY overkill, doesn't look natural at all, and is clearly done to try to impress other women and to allow cosmetic company CEOs to upgrade their yachts every couple of years. Men never asked for it and don't prefer it (with rare exceptions for special events).0 0 0 0

I actually think most women look better with a bit of makeup, even if it's just a nice color of lip gloss/lipstick.
I would not recommend that young women wear makeup every time they go outside. It's not necessary. But in many circumstances, makeup can help with evening out skin tones, accentuating eyes, lips, etc. It can make a woman glow.
I prefer make up that isn't obvious. I don't like unnaturally large (fake) eye lashes, dark eye liner (especially with points at the corners of the eyes) or gaudy eye shadow and lipstick.
But if you see photos of a woman with no makeup next to her with natural-looking makeup, she always looks better with the makeup.0 0 0 0

(38)Depends on the woman.
0 1 0 0I'd say it depends on the woman, but generally speaking, I think most women are very attractive without makeup, but her nails, particularly her toenails, are fairly important to me.
0 0 0 0I think wearing makeup is part of dressing up. Generally, women are beautiful with less or none.
On the beach, no makeup. In jeans and a tee shirt, you always looks better with no or verrrrry little makeup. Dressing for business, a little more makeup is ok. At the other extreme, dressing for an expensive dinner and the theatre, makeup is appropriate.
0 0 0 0Depends on the woman. Young women mostly look fine without.
0 0 0 0Some women look fantastic without makeup, others look better with makeup.
Overall, I prefer a natural look. If I'm thinking of being in a relationship with her where she wakes up next to me, she's not going to have her makeup on.
0 1 0 0Looks better without makeup.
0 0 0 0I don't like make-up, I think its a big waste of money, full of dangerous chemicals, messes up your skin and you look better without it
0 0 0 0With. The real question is if a person looks really bad without makeup, which depends. I feel bad about it but there’s nothing I can do besides lower my standards as far as I can manage.
0 0 0 0Minimal makeup is best.
0 0 0 0well to exaggerate your question: does a person who artificially change their looks to look better than a person who doesn't do that?
well yes. but the point is: that's not how the person actually looks. it's artificial. so it doesn't count. what counts is what's real, not what's fake. and with a person i see what's real and i do prefer that, even if it looks not as good on the surface.
