  • I mean it's usually rare & happens under weird circumstances but sure. A woman could drug and cuff a man to a bed and force feed him viagra if she wanted to truly use his body against his will. Or worse, use the strapon if he wouldn't consent to swallowing the viagra.

  • It's not about over powering a guy. She can drug him or get him drunk.

  • Yes. An erection doesn’t mean consent.

It’s probably easier for a man to overpower his attacker, but that doesn’t mean it’s not rape if she forces him.

  • Gender has absolutely nothing to do with it. Any one is capable of rape male, female, or other. The people who said no must be brain dead.

  • Of course it's possible for a woman to rape a man.

  • Why did the guys who say no say no? I'm curious. Technically if you are a man maybe you know better than me about this because it would be a male issue.

    • The legal definition of rape precludes a woman raping a male. So from a purely legal perspective as a woman does not have a penis to penetrate him with there can be no rape. From a social/political perspective it can and does happen. Rape is defined in the US and the UK as a penetrative act. She can sexualy assault him though.

    • So you're voting based off legal definition. Ok that's fair. I voted regardless of what the law says.

    • They might be going by the reasoning that because men are physically stronger than women, for the most part, then they should be able to defend themselves in such a situation. But that's not taking into account the possibility that he is drugged or there is more than one person (besides the victim) involved. They may also be going by the fallacy that an erection = consent.

  • I do, yes.

  • You are 15, you are a prime target for a statutory raping woman.

  • Non consensual sex is always rape, why would gender effect it?

  • Technically, it's possible.
    Statutory rape is evident.
    Drunk rape is a possibility.
Brutal overpowering rape in a park at night is less evident.

  • Yes of course

  • Demonstrably, since they have not only done it, but been convicted of doing it.

  • It's possible

  • They sure can, buddy.

  • of course she can

  • This question get a asked a lot on here so I'm just going to copy and paste my comment from the last thread.

As I have pointed out before, legally a woman cannot rape a man, in the UK at least, they can only be charged with sexual assault. This is because under the law the victim must have been penetrated with a penis without his or her consent, in order for a rape conviction to take place. This obviously rules out women from being convicted of rape.

However, looking at it from a non-legal point of view, it can happen. I think a lot of people dismiss the idea because of the misconception that if a man gets an erection then he consents, but this is not necessarily the case. Female rape victims have been known to orgasm during the ordeal but that doesn't make it consensual. These are simply biological processes and they in no way imply consent.

  • Yes women can rape men.

  • Women are capable of committing that crime too.
