Superb Opinion
  • As long as the people involved are well practiced or take it slow and easy if not and use protection if they are not in a relationship and tested, there is no reason for it to be harmful.

When anal sex is harmful is when it's casual, unprotected, and/or rough, anal tears and fissures can occur, increasing the chance of general infections and STIs.

Even in relationships there needs to be a very high level of trust with anal sex.

Most Helpful Guy

  • If done responsibly, there is nothing wrong with it.
foreign or dirty objects, bleeding or tears can’t be good but If done safely it can be a nice experience.

Most Helpful Girls

  • I love phrases like "It's well known..." at the start of misinformation because it saves time I might otherwise waste on reading non-objective opinionated drivel.
As YourLatinLover already hinted, if it is harmful, then you're either doing it wrong or it's just not for you.

  • It can tear the anus and give you an STD unprotected plus it’s uncomfortable and gross

    • i did not do sex but I am seeing while i watch so not see badly thank you

    • Source?

    • @Twalli common sense. Anything that big can tear your anus. It’s well known in the medical community that AIDS and other STDs like warts spread you unprotected anal sex. And the last two are opinions.

  • For anyone who is participating, it is harmful.
@gwenhwyfar explained it well enough lol

  • As long as sensible precautions are taken it's safe. It's when people try sticking stupid things up that you get problems

    • What kind of precautions?

  • Your ass was meant to let crap out not take anything in and yes it can do harm, why do you think it smelles to turn you off from putting anything in there so stop it

  • It can be if done wrong or forcefully.

  • It didn't feel harmful 9 hours ago. Goodmorning

  • Unprotected, definitely. Infections are a reality of unprotected anal penetration, for both partners.

  • I think it is psychologically for women but I can't back that up.

  • I heard that if you have a scratch or if you are rubbed raw on your dick it could get infected.

  • Not if done right!

    • R u a fan?

    • I am

    • how to do it right

  • Both, that hole is not meant to have anything fuck it, it damages the anus, weakening it's ability to stay sealed throughout the day, and people who have anal sex end up in adult daipers eventually. Anyone saying otherwise is either ignorant, or a liar.

  • It can be, if rushed

    • Did you do anal sex

  • Yes; harmful to both men and women, besides being immoral, unhealthy, and unnatural.

  • Nope

  • It's not a belief, it's not harmful from a medical standpoint. I asked a practicing gastroenterologist. A large part of their job is colonoscopies. Trust me, if there were any negative effects from anal, they'd ask their patients about it. They don't. In fact there aren't that many doctors that ask about sex. The only two I know of that routinely ask are urologists and OBGYNs.

  • I have yet to find out :(

  • Take one up the ass Spanky LMFAO

  • Only if you don't use enough grease

  • I don't think anal sex is harmful within normal parameters. But if you try to test it say by overstretching, you can hurt your body

  • yes to both

  • I've never experienced any harm from anal sex giving or receiving
