I don’t think it’s right. I think pubic hair serves multiple purposes. It’s there for a reason, nature didn’t get it wrong. so I think asking someone to remove it prior to sex is wrong. I prefer natural pubic hair any day on a woman. It’s more aesthetically pleasing to look at her and know that she is sexually developed. It’s by far more womanly and feminine. Having no hair or very little looks more to me like an underdeveloped girl who’s not of age to be having sex. There is something way more erotic about knowing or being able to see rather that the body of the girl I’m about to have sex with is fully developed and mature. Lastly, telling someone to remove their pubic hair prior to sex is akin in my book to saying you’re not good enough the way you come naturally. I don’t want something that is fake or removed from the person I love. I want them to be fully who and what they are. It’s a reflection of the person in their fullness.
You can ask. I don't think it's weird. Everyone has preferences. Just explain that it's a turn on for you if they are shaved. I assume you'll be shaved as well
