Superb Opinion

  • Some. judgmental people tend to be utter bastards with little character anyway.

So if you have someone too "liberal" or "conservative" then that should automatically raise flags in you.

Obviously "views on sex" change with age, place and circumstances. Hence it's not a very good yardstick.

I knew a qualified nurse, a while back. Completely chance encounter in a German hospital as my friend injured himself skiing. She was a former porn star, I recognised her face and discretely asked if she was the person. She was, and she said she'd moved on from it to her current career.

She's probably saving more lives than dimwit politicians, and "ho bros" ever will.

  • Their views on SEX are just the views about sex not the criteria to understand their morality n personality

    • What is your view on sex?

    • To me... views on sex do not define one's morals or character...

    • Ok. What is your view on intimacy?

  • Definitely the other way around. The same view on sex can come from extremely different values.

    • Thanks, that’s why I answered it’s the opposite way. We agree

    • Yes. Maybe I didn't word my question correctly but you got my point.

  • I believe that a person's values, morals and character define their attitudes about sex.

  • In a way. If they believe someone should be tortured for eternity because they had consensual sex the wrong way, I would say that persons values and morals are very messed up. If they believe sex is transactional and is owed to them if they play a dating game, their character is very bad. Is that the kind of thing you are talking about?

  • Not really. I don’t really see how someone’s views on just sex defines them as a person. There’s a whole lot more to people.

    • What about us shapes our views on sex and influences our sexual choices?

  • Partially.

  • it can definitely go either way...

  • Depends on their views.

  • Yes.

  • Definitely defines mine.

  • Partly. But living those views defines one character. Anyone can say anything, but not everyone lives what they profess. Currently, this is a generation of words, not action. A lot of talk, but not much visible demonstration. Not to thump the Bible, but a wise man once said " By their fruits you shall know them." If there's no fruit on the tree then views are meaningless.

  • It isn't necessarily determinate, but it can be a litmus test for their overall character.

    • Absolutely they do!

  • As far as cheating yes of course. As far as kinks, no. Too open ended a question

  • No I think the opposite

    • I mean they are intertwined

    • It’s not a simple subject but yes both are related

  • Not at all.

    • As per your update, every viewpoint you have about anything is formed by those things.

    • Yup. Not just me.

    • That's obvious. What's not obvious is that the definition of those terms is not the same for everyone, therefore when applied situationally, the results are not the same for everyone.

  • In 2024 this should not be an issue, but we live in a world where people come from or their gender people will judge them on. Example if you come from India ( I am half Indian) and you're a woman and you like having sex before marriage people will judge you. I think it's time that people get over the stereotypes and just let people live their lives.

  • To some extent... yes

  • It doesn’t alone define but it it’s the most defining factor

  • Yes, people who believe who believe in poly relationships or encourage sex work, female promiscuity or cuckoldry are terrible people.

  • It's part of those things

  • Nah. People are more complex than that.. excuse me, I should say some people are more complex than that.

  • @marish01 in today world people do see it that way, but it should not be.
