A lot of talk, but not much visible demonstration. Not to thump the Bible, but a wise man once said " By their fruits you shall know them." If there's no fruit on the tree then views are meaningless.

It isn't necessarily determinate, but it can be a litmus test for their overall character.

  Clearly she stated that she their views on sex are not required to define them as moral people. So it's a none factor to her... whereas you must disagree if you cannot understand that statement. Do not understand what morality is? You can fuck a goat and be a good person. There three pillars to morality, legal, ethics and values. If you put a high value on sex, or sexual behaviors then sex will be very important to you. Regardless, if you have a lot or none. sex matters to you and therefore you would put a great importance on it when you consider morals, based upon the value you as a individual places on it. Legally, sex is legal. So legally it is not immoral. Ethics, there is an ethical way and unethical way to participate in a sexual relationship. So, the act of having sex is not immoral by itself. In most cases, as long as it is consensual then it is ethical. Rape is not ethical, and it is also illegal. Values- values are all dependent upon what you personally feel is the ethical or on unethical in accordance with your own personal values. For example if you feel sex is only for the purpose of having children or expressing love... then on a personal level you might feel having sex for fun is unethical. Based upon you personal values, you correct to think its unethical, but just because you feel that way, does not make the act of having sex, illegal or unethical. Because other people have different values that they assign to having sex... and that again is not illegal or unethical in and of itself.

In 2024 this should not be an issue, but we live in a world where people come from or their gender people will judge them on. Example if you come from India ( I am half Indian) and you're a woman and you like having sex before marriage people will judge you.
