Not at all if the people know how to maintain it by keeping minimal contact with each other. I feel that's why people regard them as "dangerous."
What they don't realize is that when they think a friends with benefits is dangerous, it's because the friends with benefits is actually an "open relationship" but the partners are calling it a friends with benefits .
I can talk from experience that friends with benefits sex is very "empty" and not many people are comfortable with that. People consider it to be a bad thing but it's not. It's just different and people prefer the passionate side of sex that's in relationships.
People with friends with benefits situations are literally aiming to get each other off and nothing more. There are women who want to hook up and literally tell people to open the door, she'll be bent over, and to go in, do their thing, and leave.
The thought of such sex just strikes people offensively and due to the whole "gotta be a in relationship" mentality the typical person has, people do not understand the nature of FWBs.1 0 0 1Nope. I see nothing immature about two consenting adults making an agreement to take care of their needs without any strings or baggage.
Immature would be one person making the other think they are committed when they are really not. Why not just call it what it is?1 0 0 1

I don't think so. It sometimes makes sense. You want to get the benefits but with no strings attached. It probably depends on the reasons you're doing it. I reckon it's only immature when girls do it in the hopes of getting a guy to notice them or to try to make the guy fall in love with them. We all know it doesn't work that way.
0 1 0 1No. When I was getting divorced I still wanted sex but no commitment. The problem is that usually someone wants more.
0 0 0 0It never works.. Someone always falls for someone. Usually the girl..

0 1 0 1I don't think its immature but I do think it is a bad idea.
0 0 0 0No its an agreement to just hook up by 2 people that don't want to be in a relationship. Better and easier than sleeping with random strangers isn't it?
0 1 0 1no i dont think its terribly immature. heck i would love to have a friend or friends with benifits
0 0 0 1yes, i dooooooo
0 0 0 0Yes like halafax said its like holding a stick of dynamite and wondering when it will blow up in your face.
0 0 0 0AGREE, it is the most ridiculous thing in the world.
0 0 0 0No I don't think it's immature
0 0 0 0It's actually more mature because you are taking the time to recognize your needs and the natural impulses of your friends and working together to make sure everyone gets what they want.
It's better, and safer, than a bunch of random unplanned hook ups that are going to happen if you try to ignore your sexuality. Then all you will have is lots of flings and a few serious BFs...you can do better than that. It's not even slightly immature.0 0 0 0
