Superb Opinion

  • Yes

My only concern with porn use at too young of an age is the inability to understand and emotionally process. First stuff I watched was just sensual strip dancing

This hot blonde was strip dancing on a pool table and I thought it was just the best thing. All over it. So I watched sexy dance videos/tease videos. Eventually hot college girls making out

I built up to seeing full on sex but that was after having a base of seeing what's pleasurable, what's more normal so to speak. Seeing how girls look and act when they're actually enjoying themselves

So the first time I came across professional porn I couldn't get into it because I knew it was fake. It was an act. Turned it off and went back to watching girls make out lol because it was real

I think if a kid too young sees that other shit first with zero understanding or experience he's going to think the act is reality and that is what's normal. That's damaging in my opinion and I don't want that for my kids.

Met enough people that fucked themselves up young and it doesn't go well for them. I'd rather establish healthy sexual habits/norms and when he's older he can venture off from there.

Like choking and other stuff I do and enjoy now I wasn't into watching as a kid, but part of that was when it was done the porn stars were just acting. Had I seen some soft core amateur porn it would probably be different.

Some amateur porn is way hotter than professional porn

  • I don't like any of the poll answers.

Yes and no. I think 13 is an OK time for them to start learning what the parts are cause it won't be long before they find out one way or another, I do worry tho that, for obvious reasons a 13 year old isn't mature enough to understand the nuances of porn, they won't know it's all over exaggerated and fake, that people are all fake and well beyond average looking so like you said they could develop bad, unrealistic expectations, maybe become insecure.
But on the other hand kids not knowing anything till they just try it has it own problems like pregnancy, we've all heard some idiot say "she can get pregnant if she's on top", that's the kind bad shit that could happen if we try to shelter them and ignore their urges till the more appropriate age of 17 or 18.

So at some point t you have to put ideas in there head while you still have some control what ideas get in there. I almost feel like hand picking some porn for them to watch wouldn't be a terrible idea or maybe just a tasteful romantic movie, then again got to be careful mixing love with sex cause girls already get dumb ideas like sex equals love so I don't know, luckily I don't have to know how to handle it for a while, I got at least 14 years before I have to deal with the dilemma of giving the birds and the bees talk.

  • I started watching porn at 12. Internet. And i would course get curious. I remember asking my mom how sex felt and she near choked on her coffee before getting in to the conversation. I ended up having my first sexual experience at 14 and losing my virginity at 16

    • So how do you feel about that?

    • @Jamie05rhs I feel like, given the circumstances, I got lucky. Cause I could've ended up pregnant super early and screwed myself over

    • Word. True dat.

  • I doing think it is good, but it so easy to access porn these days and we would never know when they did start

  • Porn is a weapon and does many things flawlessly.
    1. Massively messes human brain up by making women look like a simple masturbation object and nothing more and by making men look like a walking pleasure sticks that can be tossed out after a night out.
    2. It completely destroys both men and women self-esteem, because a huge majority of men are not 6 foot 3, all jacked up and packing 10 + inches of steel and huge majority of women do not have a Perfectly proportioned butts and breasts with the minimum amount of fat while looking like models.

    • Sadly some young guys and girls think that the opposite sex will naturally have all those features as shown in porn.

  • no.. so long as they understand porn is fabricated content like a tv show

  • Everyone is different.

    in an ideal world no.

however they will get access to it, we were looking at porn mags from 11 or so.

it’s important it’s either with friends or alone and not pressurised in to watching it.

Also that they understand it’s not the same as real world, it’s fake movie stuff.

As a parent, it’s important to understand your kids will watch it, so you need to have a think on how you handle it.

  • i think kids like 7 or 8 probably see it a boy showed me when i was 10

  • I think it's fine as long as they understand that things they see online are usually fake/played up and in real life things aren't like that.

  • hardcore porn? then yes but as a guy who was 12 when i discovered a softcore magazine and loved playing with myself over sexy women ever since still yes because i ended up a true porn addict though at least i didn't develop an unhealthy notion of what sexual relationships should be at such an impressionable age. i just like looking at tits and pussies

  • As long as they understand it's not real and the important issues like consent and protection, its fine

  • It's too young, for a variety of reasons. Most important is that they are not yet capable, physically, to do what they're watching, and are not yet capable of understanding that porn is not real, it's fantasy.

  • Girls are having sex at a younger age than 13, probably even some preteens, are fucking, from what I read on GAG. If they are going to do it they might as well as watch it too.

  • Possibly an unpopular opinion, it's not that that itself is bad it's more that the perception of it might push them oddly. What we are as kids possibly impacts us a lot, not that people can't be wildly different but you can visualise it like a tree the lower the on the tree something is, the more wide apart a branch can be. Not that it's necessarily bad, the only thing I liked as a kid was technical and scientific things and now I'm like this, just saying you don't want to be weird and not remember the dates. I'm kidding of course (possibly)

  • Way to young. I think it distorts young peoples' views of love and sex.

  • We already knew, at that age, what naked girls looked like and one of us found a hidden stash of porno mags one day and would go get them to take looks, once in a while and, as far as I know, it never did any of us any harm.

  • I used to watch porn when I was 8.

  • Yes. I wish I hadn't seen porn that young. I think it's probably part of what made me afraid of women.

  • It gives people unrealistic expectations about sex. Not all guys have a giant dick and take 2 viagras before sex, and not all girls are 5 feet tall with perfect bodies

  • Well as porn made the internet famous, and while 14 year old boys gained access to images that took 15 minutes to see even tits.. No. Granted things have changed drastically since '93

  • The thing here is to talk to your children both boys and girls about sex. Better they learn it from their parents than a porn site. My ex and I believed and raised our kids with the opinion that is they were old enough to ask, they were old enough to know.

  • It's okay natural for a teen

  • I think that is actually a common age to be watching porn and I don’t necessarily think it’s too young.

  • 13 is a bit too younger IMHO. 16-17 perhaps not.
