Do they know you are not a virgin (if you aren't)? Do they care who you sleep with? Do they ask questions about your sexual life?

When I lost my virginity my parents knew. Not because I told them, but because I was spending a lot of time with this guy and they could see it in the way we looked at each other. They were pretty angry with me and made me feel dirty. Now that I’m older, I live with my fiancé and they are ok with it, but I know it’s not their preference. They would have preferred me wait until marriage, even though they’ve admitted that they didn’t.

They care that I am safe and not do stupid things. They thought for a long time I lost my virginity to my first boyfriend, which wasn't the case. Other than that they know about my birth controle choices, but not much more. I mean they obviously assume rightfully, that I only sleep with my husband.

My parents don't care since I'm an adult. They know I'm not a virgin obviously. They don't ask me who I'm banging if I'm single. They assume I'm a mature adult and I know how to make my own decisions and keep myself safe.

My mom knew I was sexually active in highschool. She found a used condom in my bathroom waste basket.
