I think it might be because of many factors.
The feel of the razor or touching so carefully and methodically into every nook and cranny of your most intimate part. Added to the fact that I'm sure you are doing this to be more sexually inviting to whoever is going to see it. Making yourself more sensually attractive no matter what part of you can be arousing! I get hard at times when I trim or even cleaning myself, just because I feel more sexually attractive because I'm more "clean" or sexually inviting in my mind.

Yes, I get hard even because it is easier to shave, both using razor or trimmer. For girls that get turned on I could suggest the Gillette fusion 5 with motor. :)
