Does anyone else absolutely suck at dancing?

I cannot dance. I've accepted that. 😂 I would be THE worst stripper ever.

Here's some evidence. Back when I was like 19 I went to a party with my then boyfriend and I was attempting to grind my butt on his junk. He said and I quote, "You don't have any rhythm but you gave me a boner." 💀💀💀💀

I at first thought this said "dating" in the side feed. I was going to say "most men suck at dating; this is a problem no woman has to worry about." But it say says dancing. Also, most strippers cannot/do not even "dance" at all. So I'm sure you'd still be a good stripper on the account of being an in-shape 20-something female.

I am both yes and no on this. I actually took salsa and bachata lessons from 2016 to 2018. (In the most "positive" way possible, it was a total clam fest. Nothing but women in the classes and I was one of only two men. It's impossible to do salsa without a male lead.) However, it doesn't mean I like dancing. To be honest, I'm too tense and uptight for it in a public setting. Dancing is for people more relaxed, fun, or drunk than I am. People who don't mind making an ass of themselves in front of others. I can dance in private, but not in public. Same with singing; having a feminine voice, I've been told I'm apparently really good at that too. But I'm not the karaoke type.

So while I don't "absolutely suck" at dancing, you won't catch me "at da club."

Yeah, I never liked to dance. The only reason I did it was to meet girls, but that was in my teens. And I wasn't good at dancing. It just doesn't compute in my brain.

My wife loves to dance. I'll dance with her at the occasional event just because it makes her happy.

I got my first guitar when I was 11 and was heading local rock bands by the time I was 16. So I was often either performing on stage or standing near the stage watching another band play. I was rarely dancing. Plus, I could get girlfriends. Going to clubs to hit on strangers wasn't my thing.

Anyway, I never learned how to dance. I'll bet I'm worse than you. 🤣

The funny part is, not many strippers are even good at dancing lol I worked at a club and I was absolutely shocked how majority of the girls do not even dance, they just move seductively. There was maybe 2-3 dancers out of like 15 that were good at it lol

I was a terrible dancer and suspect the best I ever did was a seductive strip for a guy and he wasn't paying any attention to my dancing.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂Yea same here, sane as in the I suck at dancing not the giving dudes boners to clear things up that's gay af, I don't get up and dance, I've had a few girls literally holding me by the hands and begging me to dance with them, I act nonchalant about it like I'm here to drink when in reality I'd look like shrek if I dance, I think some of them realize that I fear it though

It all a numbers game. If you can count and practice, the rest comes naturally. The more advanced stuff takes time and more practice but it’s not as complicated. From bachata, salsa, hip hop to reggae, Dance hall, etc.

I’m a good dancer in that i have rhythm, and i enjoy good music. But i can’t just dance to anything. Gotta be the right song at the right time for me. I also don’t learn the hip new moves, and i rarely dance to “dance music”. The right song touches my heart and mind, and the music moves me. Unfortunately, i LUV watching great dancers dance and i can’t not compare myself to them. In my mind, everyone not on a dance floor is THEM and they’re judging me for a complete lack of skill. Ell oh ell! So mostly i dance alone at home, cuz i DO luv good music and i feel it deeply in a way that i simply can’t ignore.
