Does anyone know a really good vibrator under $30?

This is me
This is me
I wanna get my first vibrator but I don't know anything about them really. I'm not buying on Amazon because my parents still go through my packages. So I'm getting someone to drop me off at a shop. What brands are good? I need something quiet, small, and won't give me some kind of chemical poisoning.. Question is mostly targeted to the girls but I know some guys know a lot about women's sex toys too. The potato thanks you in advance.
I know one! (Tell me more) 😊

  • Since you need a toy that's quiet and you're not interested in insertion, take a look at the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation. It's designed specifically for ladies; it had no other function outside stimulating your clitoris. I have one in my ladies bag of tricks, which is something that every man should have on hand for his lady guests. After putting in fresh batteries I turned it on and a found it reasonably quiet, although you may want to have music playing in your room to deaden the sound. If you shop around you should be able to find one for $30.

The gold standard for vibrators is the Hitachi Magic Wand. "Big Vic" as one girlfriend named it, can literally keep women begging for more- and begging to stop, all at the same time. It's a noisy piece of kit which no background noise will hide. I any case, a genuine Hitachi ids pricey, and not recommended for beginners. Keep in mind that there are many women who won't use a powerful vibrator like a Hitachi because they claim the toys desensitizes them. Make your own choices.

    • That was a lot of info, but that being said it was really good info. I appreciate your opinion sir. Thank you.

    • I know that I'm old enough to be your grandfather, but I'm begging you, please don't call me sir!

    • Sorry I refer to anyone my senior that way, force of habit 😶

  • I don't have any specific recommendations (even my knowledge base only goes so far), but a few general things: buying something in a store is likely to be more expensive than buying online, due to simple economics; you may be able to squeeze a bit more out of your budget by finding a way to do that; a friend who's willing to receive a package for you and not ask questions could help. Also: many vibrators have varying settings, and the more intense it gets, the louder; bear that in mind when factoring in noise concerns. It can be easy to get distracted in the act and go louder than you mean to. A fan or some other such object can help cover the noise, but that might not always work.

  • Without knowing exactly what is available near you, some suggestions on what to look for...

Go for one made of silicon... any hard plastic ones are not comfy.

Think about whether you want clit, internal (bullet or shaft-like, or both (rabbit). I like them all on different ways.

Avoid any with the small watch style batteries, they do not last long and are hard to replace. Look for rechargable (ideally) or AA/AAA.

I do not like any with wires between the vide and controller.

If you go with internal bullet, make sure it has strings for removal.

    • Did you end up making a selection?

  • Surprisingly you can find them at Target. Go to the pharmacy section where they have personal lubricants and condoms. There you will find “personal massagers”. Otherwise find a local adult shop. I know it’s embarrassing but truth is it’s always embarrassing the first time.
Just remember. Whatever size you think will be good for you, always get something slightly smaller.

    • Thank you I'm gonna check out the nearest target now lol

  • I dont like the idea of anything inside me so I went with a magic wand which just... yes please. It is unfortunately a bit more than 30 (Amazon has it for 52) but that thing can make me buck right up off the bed at times.

    • It isn't small or exactly quiet but when you can get alone time... DEFINITELY worth it

    • Outside of Amazon, try looking over this article

      www.cosmopolitan.com/.../

    • Thank you so much i'll look into it and see if I can get it a different time ❤

  • Lmao the way you said “something that won’t give me a chemical poisoning.” Haha thats one of the reasons i’ll never use a toy. Other than that, i only want the real thing

    • Some of the "real things" will give you some poisoning.

    • @Red_Arrow true but i like to get them tested first

  • I hear good things about rabbits. I don’t like things that vibrate personally. Unless they automatically thrust.

  • Depending on where you live you may still be able to use Amazon. Amazon has locker delivery in larger cities. They created them to protect from porch thefts, but they also work to protect your privacy. The lockers are in drugstores, Whole Foods, and many other places. You find a place that has them and use that as your address. Amazon will ship to that locker and send you the code to open it. Completely private.

    • I don't think there is one near me and if there is I don't know where on the site to find it

  • Amazon wish or geek try all three of those places

  • i have the bullet and i think it's not too expensive. it's very tiny

  • Under $30? 😅
You could probably get either an electric toothbrush or a used air pump for an aquarium.
    That will vibrate.

    • Its that bad?

    • I live in Canada now. I can't imagine a decent vibrator costing under $30, but I don't know. My ex liked the rabbit.

  • Try the satisfyer pro, not sure where you can buy in ur area outside of Amazon though. Check it here www.pleasurestore.ie/.../

  • I would suggest a bullet.
They can be used solo and while having sex.
    It is very intense.

  • If you're putting something inside of yourself, quality is important.
I'm not sure about pricing but just be careful to read about how/where it was made. Buy some cleaning solution specifically for intimate procducts.

  • Look for the Underwriters Lab (UL) seal of approval on whatever you buy. You don't want to get electrocuted.

    • Where do I find that?

    • It is usually on the power cord.

    • Noted

  • Get at least a AA battery powered one - the AAA's are too weak.
Understand it's your clitoris that gets you off, much more so than penetration. So one that does both can have some advantages.
The Hitachi Magic Wand is a power-house, but comes in about twice that budget.

  • a friend has a bullet , its a good one

  • Ooo I'm not sure what to suggest since the shops could have different items. I would suggest quality always outlasts cheapness. If it is cheaply made it may break after a few months and you have to go out getting another one. But if you get a good one it will last and will never fail you.

  • That’s a very expensive potato. Where are you ordering your potatoes for $30? It sounds like a rip-off from Whole Foods like a Free Range Potato that’s living in its own “condo” in a field on a farm where there’s sustainable farming in a fair trade locality. Anyways, back to your question, yes I could find a potato for less than $30. If you’d like, I could send you like 3 or 4 potatoes for $30.

    • Yes please

  • Oh damn, I thought you more wholesome 😜 I like this side of you

    • I try to stay wholesome for the most part, but sometimes a girl needs to satisfy her needs 😉

  • Bruv

    • Yuh bruv

    • Nah famelam bruvva

  • Hey potato, message me.

    • Not until you give me a recommendation first

    • My recommendation is to let me buy you a proper one off of Amazon.

    • Haha I'm not gonna let you spend money on me nor will I give you my address deary

  • Get a really good bullet vibrator. They're cheap and a good starter vibrator and insertable. They're easy to hide and get right to the point. A powerful one that runs on AA or AAA are best, cuz these batteries are cheaper. You're going to use a LOT of batteries! You can also buy ones that are disguised as lipstick or other household items.

    • Thank youuu

    • No Problemo!

    • Put them in a condom and you can insert the easily without losing them!

  • ooooh a big day ;p
