Superb Opinion

  • Not necessarily. It's probably the same as thinking lesbians are more masculine than a typical woman. I've known two full blown lesbians, as in they don't like men. Period. One was what most would think a lesbian would be like, wore men's jeans and flannels, had short hair, you had a hard time knowing she was a woman. The other one, was the most beautiful and feminine woman I have ever met! So, by my experience, it's 50/50.

    • Wait that story doesn’t make sense it proves that lesbians are more manly

  • No, bro. Being heterosexual does not make you anymore "manlier" or "superior" to homosexual men. Sexual preference does not define a person's manliness. Anyone who tells you that being heterosexual makes you more manly or masculine is speaking from their own insecurities. True strength and manliness are defined by your values and who you are as a person, not by the gender of the person you are attracted to.

    • Well when you say who you are as a person Would you say that a man who is being penetrated is manly? That’s very passive , submissive behavior Is submissiveness a masculine value?

Most Helpful Girls

  • I don't equate those two things. I know some real masculine men who you'd never know were gay without telling you. The super flamboyant types, not very masculine obviously. But then I know plenty of straight guys with goofball, immature fratboy behaviors that I don't find all that "manly".

    • Leave those young bucks alone they’re just sewing their wild oats Then how come so many heterosexual women don’t want to date bisexual men?

    • I'd be fine with dating a bi guy. It's a frequent question and it usually comes out about 40-45 on here say they'd be ok with it.

    • I know I’m asking why the majority don’t.

  • No there's very masculine gay men the flamboyant gay man is just the stereotype

    • Then how come a lot of heterosexual women don’t want to date bisexual men or any man who has had sex with other men?

    • I dont know if its different because Im bi myself but my boyfriend is bi too and I have no problem with that

    • So you’ve never met a straight woman?

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Why would that be the case? gay men are gay because they often like masculin the same way women do. Also everything is subjective and not all women and neither all men like the same. being gay or not has nothing to do with that.

    • Everything is not subjective because what you’ve just said doesn’t apply to the majority And the majority of people view gay men as less manly

    • Majority of what? Its not the majority of real people. SO maybe the majority of internet trolls?

    • Well you can’t really say that when you believe everything is subjective

  • Depends what you understand and how you define "being manly".

  • nope.

  • I mean, yeah. Heterosexuality is the epitome of masculinity and feminity.

    • Does that makes you better? No, it doesn't make you a better human being.

    • Not better more masculine

    • Yeah

  • Dull.

  • never had it put that way before but yes! I think that hit it on the head.

  • No but you just prefer the vagina than anal with a man.
Though anal with a woman a sign he could be bysexual

    • Well I was purposefully not specific about bottoms or tops but all gay men

  • I don’t see that as a variable.

    • Why not?

    • Just doesn’t seem important. The whole idea of masculine/feminine is stupid anyway. I know just as many women who are better at everything than men.

    • Than men or just the men you know? And what is stupid about masculine/feminine?

  • No it just means that the homosexual person is a darwinnian dead end. Because no children will be produced. Which is a good thing.
