Does being tired make you not be able to ejaculate?

Last night my boyfriend and i were having sex. He usually finishes but he never did last night. I asked him why he couldn't and he said it was probably because he was to tired. He also had 4 beers which I don't think would affect that. But is it true that being really tired will make you not cum?

#Of course it could, particularly if they were closely spaced.

"But is it true that being really tired will make you not cum?"
#Yes. The orgasm/ejaculation process involves a burst of adrenalin. If I am tired, I may not get it. I will want to come but I can't quite get over the top And that's where the dreaded "blue balls" come into play. Blue balls is an engorged prostate ready to ejaculate and the strain on the muscles that have been drawing up the testicles to load the prostate.

  • Neither. Exhaustion and drunkenness lower sensitivity. "Whiskydick" prevents erections mostly but doesn't really prevent ejaculation and I think that 4 average beers would be unlikely as the cause; exhaustion also does not actually prevent ejaculation, and would prevent erections, but both can lower sensitivity.

As a matter of fact your man may have only gotten an erection due to the alcohol. In smaller amounts alcohol can actually improve erections: It's a vasodialiation drug. It's just in greater amounts it also causes sedation.

  • Even one beer will affect him. It's usually a toss-up with guys and drinking. Either they'll fuck like a p*rn star, or they'll randomly go completely limp and get overly embarrassed and it'll just be an awkward night.

  • Being tired and drinking does make it harder to reach orgasm at times.

  • The beer
    not being tired
    is a fault
will get worse as he gets older

  • Tired doesn't affect it as much as alcohol will. but put them both together and that really can affect it a lot. Most of us will still try though...

  • Yes. both alcohol and being tired can make it not happen. Just roll with it.

  • Not me I come way quicker if I'm tired
But everyone is different if I don't have sex for a while it over quicker than if I'm getting it more often and I know a guy says if it's been a bit dry in that area he goes longer and if he has it every day after a week he blowing quicker
If it's once or twice now and again ur overreacting prob had stuff on his mind that's not even anything to do with u
If it's all the time and over a long period then I would start to ask question

  • I come faster when i am tired. And i last longer when im not tired.

I wouldn't know about alcohol because i don't drink alcohol.

  • Delayed ejaculation can have many causes.

  • nope

  • Happens sometimes, you don't come every time either. Being dehydrated does it for me.

  • Yes, it is true.
