Erm, kinda. It can negate your responsibilities to your girl, if you are in a sexual relationship. Part of your job is to keep your girl sexually satisfied. And man, that is important into contributing to a happy relationship.

As a guy, if you masturbate too much, you will want less sex with your lady. And she can feel neglected.

That said, having a sexual release is a good stress reliever. And sometimes you can be too tired/not enough time for sex. So guys should indulge at times when sex isn't likely to be on the cards for whatever reason. And it's healthy for the prostate to release often.

As for girls, masturbating doesn't really impact their willingness/performance on sex. They can masturbate several times if they want, then still have great sex with their fella later on if they choose to.

I encourage my wife to masturbate whenever she wishes. Women tend to be more stressed than guys. Hormones are much more rampant. So I think its healthy for her to de-stress and masturbate whenever I am not around. I tend to abstain more, so I am able to please my wife in bed at night. I do masturbate, but I have sex much more than knocking one out solo.

If you're single, I don't think it's an issue.

Yes. I read an psychological study where the found out that men who are masturbating too much get lazy because they loose motivation. They probably habe everything what evolution wants so the lack of motivation.

It’s a perfect tranquillizer when I do it in the evening in bed, I fall asleep immediately. When I do it during the day I feel full of energy.

it makes you tired, if thats what you mean. i mean, it's physically draining on your body because you just did all that work AND, a bodily fluid came out of you.
