Girls, Does plan b really work?

So I took a plan b last week 13 hours after unprotected sex but I am terrified it may not have worked because this week my breast hurt like hell and im hearing that if you take it during ovulation it doest work 😩 HELP!!!

So ladies I just came from the bathroom and I am spotting yeahhhhhhhh all this pregnancy talk has cause mother nature to come on down and I couldn't be happier and my period is RIGHT ON TIME SO THE PILL WORKED MY CYCLE IS STARTING! THANKS PLAN B!

Why don't you call Planned Parenthood and schedule an appointment. Look up stats on it on the internet. But get seen by a doctor. And please stop having unprotected sex. Pregnancy is only ONE bad thing that could happen. STIs are far more common and some are permanent.

  I AM a real person. And my suggestion that you look up the stats on the internet is a valid one. Plan B has a 1 800 line that is open mon through Friday 9 to 5 eastern time. Why don't you call them since they know about the product. It is supposed to delay ovulation, but if you know you're already ovulating, it sounds like it's unlikely to work. But the Plan B people could tell you precisely, don't you think?

  If I felt like talking to a 1800 customer service rep I would have I wanted to talk to WOMEN that have actually taken it and get their opinions! And im assuming you haven't taken one so yes it would have been much better for you to mind the business that pays you!

It works lol.. I've certainly used it when ovulating! They also give u the symptoms you're experiencing.. u can take a test now if you were ovulating at the time of sex then if you're pregnant it'll probably show up. Get a first response.. those are for early pregnancies.. buy 2.

  Yes, I've experienced the same thing... the pill works if you use it within 72hrs... the only person I've known it not to work on is women that are over weight.. one of my friends got pregnant even with plan b but she is significantly over weight.

I don't know.. all I know is the doctors and on the package itself actually says it doesn't work for people who are overweight.. so no dear, it isn't "completely untrue".. there are many factors to look at.. how long did u weight to take the pill? Were u on birth control? If you were did u have a slip up n not take your birth control? @asker... try not to stress.. trust me.. me n a few girls I know both had our phase of using plan b more than a couple times n it worked for us. I hope It works out for u.

Plan b doesn’t work for all women

  the night of doing the deed, I went to the store and got the plan b. After series of pregnancy symptoms ( obvious being lactating) turned out I was pregnant, it’s hard to confirm until you take a pregnancy test, Breast cramping is also a symptom of pregnancy by the way

  You were lactating that early on? Wow, most women don't lactate until the 2nd or 3rd trimester.. I certainly didn't start till the 3rd trimester

  @Imcmullan yeah I found out until after like 2 months after the incident, I guess I kind of didn’t experience the other pregnancy symptoms as much but lactation was a big one

  My suggestion is dont take the otc brand have your doctor call you in a prescription for it... like my doctor did and take it on an empty stomach! Then don't eat for like an hour
