Does semen get absorbed in the vagina sometimes?

My boyfriend always cums in me during sex and usually the load is big enough to drip out of me onto the bed. I always feel it dripping out. We had sex yesterday afternoon and when he pulled out, I didn't really feel much come out. Like there was maybe a drop that came out onto the bed and I don't know if that was my cum or his. It might have been a small load and he was in me pretty deep (we were in missionary with my legs up) but even if it was a small load, it wouldve dripped out by now, right?   • Sometimes, I ejaculate what seems gallons and other times just a few drops. Its all dependant on how hydrated a guy is and how long since the last time. Also, the more foreplay and stimulation/edging prior is a factor. The prostate and seminal vesicles need time to make that most potent concoction that makes up semen. And yes, a woman does absorb some of it. There was a study done a few years ago by the National Institute of Health that proved that semen and all the biochemical components, as well as the male DNA is found in the female blood stream for many hours following insemination. I can find the study publication if you are interested. It was also studied that female frequent exposure to semen inside her vagina is very healthy for her.

    • I wouldn't think he faked. Most of the time when I've ejaculated inside the vagina, there is immediately a white load of semen that drips out. Its thick and like you say, its pretty evident that it's semen inside. But there has been a few times where I defiantly came and it felt as good as the more messy times but after pulling out there wasn't much if any evidence of semen running out. It was ether just that I didn't cum much at all due to lack of hydration or her vagina absorbed it. EJaculation is not always a science. The penis and glands that make up the ejaculation capabilities at times have amind of their own lol. For lack of any better way of putting it.   • @Asker maybe he had been masturbating and ejaculated before you had sex, smaller ejaculation and longer lasting happens after cumming for the first time for most guys. There are some exceptions though to that rule like me.
