This is one of the single most popular subjects on this site, and so rather than copy and pasting this answer to every single penis question - Here is a MyTake on the most classic question, Does size matter?

Short answer, yes - size matters.

The real saying is Size doesn't matter*

*So long as it is withing the range of normal, deviating a good amount towards either extreme increases how much size matters. To say that a 2 inch penis is physically the same as a 10 inch penis is nonsensical. For the most part, size doesn't matter for 99% of guys, and so it's pointless for most guys to worry about size, since for THEM it doesn't matter.

- Average is 5.5 inches long, 4.6 inches around. (UK average)
- Average is 5.16 inches long, 4.6 inches around (US average)

How much is needed to be pleasurable?
- It's not a science, people are living variables. So long as you are relatively average, you aren't going to be having a problem.

Girl's preference?
- This is not a great question to be asking online. When it comes to dating, dick size is very unlikely to be a deal breaker, unless you are the 1% to either of the extremes, or unless she's in the 1% of either side for vaginal size.

Again, size only matters if you have it.

Does being long and thick instantly make you more likely to please a woman if you know what you're doing, yes.

Size is something of an amplifier, if you're good you become great, and if you're bad you become terrible.

Lastly, it should be mentioned that the fact that large penises are out of the average, and somewhat rare keeps exposure of this down. Girls keep saying that size doesn't matter because they haven't found a size that made it matter.

Now, while I'm sure this may answer the question for some, I'm positive that it will have no real effect on the amount of times this same question is asked. Nonetheless, this is the best I can come to answering that question as a male.
