Does the 69 position partially depend on both the guy and girl's height?

Well it's been nearly 8 years since not doing the 69 position with a past bf. But I've been wondering late if the reason it was nearly perfect for us is because we were nearly the same height (I'm 5'7 and he was only 1/2 inch taller) and I was just 10-15 lbs lighter than him. For those that have a lot of height difference, not sure how is that position still done but wouldn't it be harder. We were able to perform oral mutually (with me on top off course).

Its not overall height. Some have short trunks but long legs and vice versa. Its more about the same torso or trunk length

Sure, if there is a big difference. But I hate 69. It like saying 'I want you to cum, but let's go Dutch.' I'm 6'2", have done 5'1", 5'3"... no problems. If she's that short she's probably not also very big and so can settle down lower to bring herself closer, and I can just tuck a pillow behind my head to support and raise it.
