Zika is pretty much the same as the cold or flu unless you're pregnant.
Most people get no symptoms, while a small percentage of people feel sick like they have a cold or the flu. This lasts about a week or two before the body fights it off. In women, they are Zika-free after a few weeks. For men, Zika virus particles can remain in the semen, so they can still transmit the virus through sex for 6+ months after infection.
However, if nobody is pregnant, it really doesn't matter. Women who have had Zika will not have any problems with the fetus if they get pregnant in the future. It is only if they get Zika in the middle of their pregnancy.0 0 0 0It goes away but it stays in semen for up to six months so use condoms.

From what I understand if you are not young (as in grade school or younger) or old (as in you have some Social Security) and healthy most people will not have many symptoms or recover without many life threatening issues. Seems no worse than West Nile back in the day. It's just the "new" disease to scare everyone.
1 0 0 0since it's a newly discovered virus, no one knows yet

look at prevention. It says for wait 6 months after travel before you and your partner try to conceive
Worst site to get medical advice GAG should ban these type of questions.

They shouldn't allow them cause somebody could give you wrong advice and you could take their advice which could result in you overdosing or taking the wrong drug which could kill you.
Are you pregnant?
0 0 0 0nah im not or going to be, but still i wanna know if it goes away... and apparently it stays in male semen for 180 days or 6 months tho... like wtf does that mean , its around in men longer? for women it is 11 weeks in vaginal fluids :/
Honestly though why are you so worried? So what if you get it? Pregnant people and the sickly are the only ones that could have complications. To everyone else it's basically just a common cold.
I don't know man... i think its concerning... you dont... what you got it?
