I asked him "What's wrong, if you don't like me that's fine" He IS also telling me "I like you a lot You're so hot" So confusing?

And to add on, despite in the military, he appears lack of self confidence.

But I think he likes you. He just uses reverse psychology to keep you.

But I can't tell from your details if he likes you as a person or for the sex.

Sounds like a pretty typical military FNG... There's basically two types: the guys who think they're hot sh*t, and the guys who for whatever reason always feel inadequate, sometimes for no good reason other than other people with more assertive personalities eclipse them at work.
