Erotica is soo much hotter. Maybe that's because I've always enjoyed reading more than watching TV? I think it's the same principle. Most people prefer TV because it's easier, but reading is such a deeper level. I do watch porn occasionally, but erotica is way better. It gets me turned on.

If I just see a random porn without being turned on, it does nothing. If I read erotica (and I'm invested in the stories and characters) then it will turn me on. If I watch porn AFTER already being horny, then that's fine.

Straight porn sucks for women, but I prefer pictures a lot of times to words - despite loving to write! I just look pics of sexy naked men or hot sex scenes rather than watch some tool with a bad haircut ram a stoned looking chick in the ass like a jackhammer them cum on her face.

Erotic porn (or pornographic erotica). Sometimes erotica just seems more exciting and natural when they don't go out of their way to keep it non-explicit with carefully chosen camera angles, awkward props, or slick editing.

I'd suggest checking out adult films produced by women. "Three Daughters" is one good example. It's an erotic story, but it gets very explicit. Some people don't seem to accept that erotic things can be explicit. I wonder why.

I prefer erotica. When reading something you get to visualize it in my head. I get to give the characters my own depiction of who they are. I can feel them and put myself in their shoes... its kind of amazing

Actually erotica can be much like porn, the difference is that erotica makes you have to form the images in your mind, but it's all the same thing really.
