Once a female friend was acting very seductive toward me. I wound up kissing her, and one thing led to another, and we got some of her clothes off. I then came to my senses, and started to get away from her. We were horny, especially her, and she pleaded with me to fuck her. It was clear that she would have been embarrassed if I didn't, because she tried so hard to get me to fuck her, and put herself out there, even getting naked. So I fucked her. Though it took care of her "embarrassment", I really regretted giving in to her pleadings, as it was against what I believe to do.

Long ago but she was crying hysterically when I broke up with her and asked me to just spend one more night with her. I think that helped her with the break-up because in the morning she was smiling and happy and then we said farewell.

  She was my girlfriend though, not a stranger. I broke up with her when my friend invited me to a birthday party on the very day he was having it. So I invited her to come along with me and she went berserk saying I have to choose between her or my friends, then stormed out of the restaurant and made a huge scene when I said I refuse to make such a choice. Then I ended up heading to my friend's birthday party only to receive a call from her hysterical and asking me why I didn't chase after her. At this point, I realized I was dating a crazy person and never saw this side of her until a couple of months into it (maybe I spent too much time with her because I kind of blew off my friends the whole time I was dating her). But she ended up begging me to come to her apartment and so I canceled my plans to go to the Birthday party and went there. Then I ended up breaking with her as gently as I could, but she begged me to spend one last night with her. So I did out of sympathy even though my attraction to her pretty much plummeted to zero by this point.

  Huh, wow some of em get crazed. Hadn't thought of that scenario but I totally see that happening with a lot of girls when I think about it. Did the right thing I guess man.

  In that case, she never even met my friends. So her ultimatum to choose wasn't even based on her disliking my friends which I could at least understand a bit better (although I'd still refuse to choose). It was more like she wanted me all to herself. I made the mistake of dating her back-to-back 2 months straight without ever hanging out with my friends the whole time, so I never realized she had such a possessive and controlling side of her.

  She was quite pretty (slim Japanese girl) but on the shy side, and didn't have many friends of her own. That might be why she felt so insecure about me going to my friend's party, even though I invited her along. I've come to avoid the shy ones since I've had nothing but bad experiences with those... like you don't get to find out their true personality until long into dating, and the surprise usually isn't pleasant.

  Definitely wasn't in love with her or anything like that yet. That said, ultimatums are a quick way to ruin relationships with me. I might even be tempted to divorce my wife now of over 10 years if she gave me one, although thankfully I'm pretty sure she's not the type of person to ever do that. It brings out a stubborn side of me like, "We don't negotiate with terrorists! Good-bye!" Then shoot the hostage being held.

  Ha! nice analogy. Yep ultimatums are ridiculous but also a clear sign the connection isn't there or going in the wrong direction but also usually deserves to be handled better than it usually is and I think you did that so, good on that. Also congrats glad you found a sane woman lol

  The problem I see with ultimatums is that it's a lose-lose scenario. If we cave in, then the girl has learned that she can manipulate and blackmail us to do her will (lose). If we don't, then we lose the girl. I figure at least in the second scenario, we can at least keep our dignity. I'm fine with even passionate persuasion, but not threats.
