Fingering with first and middle fingers or middle and ring fingers?

I always thought he "Spider-Man hand" was the easiest and most effective way to do it, but I saw posts saying "lesbians be like 'just got my nails done'" with the pointer and middle finger not done.

use the middle and ring fingers. however I like to alternate using less fingers or even more fingers. have even used all my fingers already. my wife loves it when I stick in ll my fingers and gently open and close my hand while I slowly go in and out.
