For swingers only: why would a couple say they want to swing with us and then not initiate anything when we meet up?

Me and my boyf recently got to know a great couple and they say they have swinging experience with 2 or 3 couples. We have a groupchat going and theyre really confident on there, but when it comes down to meeting up in person they are not very forward with us. The guy was a bit more confident, touching me, etc, but the girl seemed nervous every time my boyf got a tiny bit flirty with her. It‘s weird because st our swinger‘s club, we easily swapped partners and had sex. So I do not get why they are not so confident in meeting up at one of our places. Should I be bold and just kiss one of them early on to get the magic happening? I understand that going from having a drink and chatting on the couch to sexy stuff is weird but it has to happen some how right? We love these people a friends but we‘re so confused if they actually want to swing with us or not!

It’s probably a Fantasy of theirs and they are intrigued with it but ares shy/ don’t have the guts to do it. Give them time to get comfortable, they may just need that
