My friends with benefits has been wanting to see me more. Three times this week. Usually it’s twice a month. The last time we were together, it was more intense. There are no rules for how long it takes for someone to catch feelings. 3 years is a long time and I'd bet 100% he has, at least, some feelings for you. You'd have to be heartless to NOT develop feelings for someone after being intimate with them for 3 years. People also grow up. He may be ready to settle down and sees you as a good option since there's already a well established relationship (yes friends with benefits is still a relationship).
