friends with benefits is benching me, what should I do?

I’ve been in a casual relationship with a guy for about 4 mths. It’s been almost a month since we’ve met up. He texts maybe once a week and the last few times he’s said he’s been ill with stomach flu. I know people get ill but this guy has used this one on me before and seems to be a sickly person. I’m fairly sure he’s seeing other women too.
I had liked him but have started to become less bothered about seeing him.
I don’t want to be rude and ignore him if he texts but I don’t want to be benched for when he’s bored and got no one else. If I try and talk with him about it as I have before he turns it around on me. He accused me of only wanting casual when he wanted something more serious yet on our first date he texted me after saying he was horny.
he's never shown that he wants more and has never told me if he even likes me.

How should I deal with this guy. Should I reply if he texts and just be unavailable until he realises I’m not sitting around waiting for him?

Maybe just telling him how u feel n you are getting off the bench and seeking out a different team to join. His team just plain sucks.

As long as you are friends with benefits you have no right to complain.
So do something about it and tell him what you told us.
