Girls are on pills to prevent pregnancy, wouldn't it be nice if there are some kind of pills for guys too?

  • They are working on it but the problem is stopping sperm production sufficient to stop pregnancy yet not having a long term effect on fertility.

Where as the pill for women generally affect naturally functions in the body that stop you getting pregnant.

Also if your hooking up and you ask him if he has a condom and he turns round and says "it's ok I'm on the pill" how much are you going to trust that?

Lets put it like this : -
A girl says she's on the pill because she doesn't want to get pregnant, only reason to lie is wanting to get pregnant.
A guy says he's on the pill because he's either telling the truth. If he's lying it's because he forgot to buy condoms or prefers bareback.

  • Funny thing as a weight lifter i obviously hear a bit about drugs. There are several steroids ( muscle building) that are also being used in stuides for birth control. One is supposed to be nandralone deconate 9 not readily used in the usa and something they call ment) both apprently are reversable after you quit using them.

Now i know someone who was a pro who had like 6 kids and this guy shot so much crap it was pathetic like thousands of milligrams per week. This is a dose that would make the average endocrinologist run weeping to their room to hide under the covers.

  • There is male birth control but apparently it effects their bodies too much. Which is funny because women have to do the same thing and can’t complain about it.

    • If you don’t want to take the pill, then don’t take it. No ones asking you to take it. You don’t HAVE to “do the same thing” 😂 You can complain all the fuck you want. But you don’t. You know why? Because it’s actually beneficial. It helps with your period cramps. In some cases, even eliminates it. Some pills have estrogen in them, which girls will have NO problem taking because it contributes to their womenhood, characteristics, features and what not. So actually? I don’t know why you’re bitching and crying about something that goes in your advantage? Cause I assure you if I had a pill that could increase my testosterone, alleviate blue balls AND not get another girl pregnant, I’d fucking 109% take that. But it’s impossible, you know why? Study human biology 😂 So stop your self victimizing bullshit. It’s like you feel oppressed through ANYTHING because you’re a woman.

    • You know nothing, Jon Snow.

    • yeah, they're called anabolic steroids

  • Sure.

  • What? Do you feel like you’re oppressed or some shit that you have to take them? 😂

lmao no ones forcing you to take them. If you don’t want to, then don’t.

  • They are working on that.

However, guys have a different pill right now: one to give them boners when they have trouble getting an erection. God bless America!

  • There have been working on it for a while since men only hace two options when it comes to birth control. wear a condom or don't have sex. Unfortunately the last i heard about the tests it had move to human trials but it caused depression and weight gain. I also believe that a couple of people on the trail killed them selfs but that might be related

  • It would, but it's proven hard to reduce male fertility without also reducing libido.

  • There is to my knowledge

  • Its been on the development board for years

  • I wish it was possible for a guy to take a pill and become sterile for a few days.

but it does not works like that so... too bad

  • there is. it is very hard to find but has existed since around early 2000s. there is also a shot version for guys too.

  • They are working on a few right now.. The most promising male contraceptive though is Vasalgel.. Male bodies dont work the same way as women.. In order to kill sperm production you would have to kill testosterone.. Turning masculine men in to effeminate men.. Most women won't have anything to do with effeminate. Additionally the pills that have been in trials have had side effects.. Not saying that the pill for women doesn't.. But the one for men effected nearly 100% of the men that tested it where the female pill the rate is less than 2%. Vasalgel is an alternative to vasectomy because it can be timed to dissipate over time, and is far easier to reverse.

    • On a side note, there are feminist groups that are fighting against men having access to their own birth control, because it takes away their ability to have "happy accidents"

    • They’re assholes. Let the men have access to their reproductive care, medicine and rights.

    • @Agape93 Oh i agree. Its like the blogger type of feminist.. You know the kind, the ones that the Guardian or the daily mail hire.

  • There are. Rather new accually. But bad side effects

  • Yes it would. But girls have the IUD that I think is much better than pills.
And with IUD you don't have to worry about forgetting to take the pills or misplace them or whatever other reasons.
IUD is a great choice but as you should know it won't protect you from stds or stis , same as pills

  • Yeah, headache pills from her talking too much.

  • It's easily avoided by not coming inside - (and avoiding those 3 risky days). I could never understand what the fuss was all about.

  • Absolutely, but the research has been killed by feminists.

  • pretty sure there are, no?

  • There have actually been several male birth control options such as vasel gel. But sadly feminists actually fight against these products and get them banned in the us. Guesse my body my choice goes out the window if that body has a penis

  • Lol I like this idea ;p
But what made you his question arise in your mind thou... Just curious

  • I don't like the thought of pills for men or women because of how much they currently effect the body.
