  Most people in general just calm down about what they expect a partner’s body to look like. The most extreme example I have is one of my friends who was honestly very VERY attractive and got a lot of very attractive women, even some models. Around the age of 30, he made contact with a girl he found very attractive in high school. He went on a date with her and was shocked to see that she was ugly now. The hottest girl from school was now uglier than the girls he had teased and called ugly. He then sought out one of the “ugly” girls he had been mean to growing up. She was beautiful but she wanted nothing to do with him because of the way he treated her when they were younger. He went into a bad depression for a few months after that. But when he cane out of it, he had a completely new view on finding a partner. One that was not visual at all.

  When I met my boyfriend, he was so skinny and fit that I could pick him up and carry him around. 5 years later, he has put on at least 50lbs, but he’s still as attractive to me now as he was when I met him. 🤷‍♂️

  No. I guess it really is different for women…. I can appreciate a guy with a 6 pack, but he’s not the man who makes me happy, so the 6 pack dude becomes no more significant to me than a playboy chick posing next to truck tires on billboard is to you.
